Physical Description of Persona:
E'kirim is growing to become a big dude, having peaked in height a little over six feet and still packing on weight and muscle. What was once chubbiness in his childhood has evened out into thickness. His skin is fair with a splash of freckles on his shoulders and across his cheeks, along with an even tan from a good deal of time outdoors, and his hands calloused from hard work. He assumes, for the most part, that he looks like his father, with a mop of dark hair and intense grey eyes. His hair usually sits around shoulder length, but pulled back from his face. He tries very hard to keep a nice beard, but it hasn't quite started to come in fully yet.
Emotional Description of Persona:
He's a guy that is mostly unaware that he's big and strong, or that he could be considered imposing or intimidating. Every once in a while it hits him, that he could _potentially_ be those things, and that some people react to him as if he is. It keeps the rumor mill mostly away from him and his mother (for now), and he's slowly starting to use it to his advantage. He is, at his core, a simple man: he likes his work well enough, and he likes his time off from it even more. He makes due with what he has and ensures his family's needs are met. Sure, they might not be the Lord Holders or the Master Crafters, but they're happy and together. What more could one ask for?
He didn't inherit his brother's drive and ambition, nor his stubbornness. He much prefers to go with the flow. He hardly has a temper, and even when stirred to passion it takes time to build into true, burning anger. He's patient and easygoing, and very few things actually set him off. He's always been a mellow guy and doesn't really care what other people think of him or his family. He is also unapologetically a momma's boy: his Mom is his best friend, and he's not ashamed of that.
History of Persona:
E'kirim is the third child of a big family of drudges in Amber Hills Hold. His mother had a habit of having children and refusing to name a father, so E'kirim grew up underfoot in the Hold with his two older siblings and two younger ones. Mirima did her best to help, and as he grew older he took his turn trying to help out with the twins. E'kirim heard the gossip about his mother: that they all had different fathers, that she had refused to name any and be forced into a marriage she didn't want, and it was why he didn't have as many family members as his friends. He grew to be quite proud of her and her unwillingness to back down into a life that didn't fit her. He tried not to hear the things the other kids said, and as he hit puberty and got bigger, people stopped saying those things within earshot.
Unlike his older brother, E'kirim was perfectly happy blending into the crowd. He started working in the fields once he was old enough, under the supervision of the farmers and the generations of folks that knew the work far better than he did. He would have been content to keep doing that, too. His body grew as if it was trying to accommodate that desire, shooting up in height and weight.
Search eventually pulled Kesricaur and Mirima to Dragonsfall Weyr, leaving E'kirim the eldest of the three kids remaining. He took on the self-imposed responsibility from them in looking out for the twins. It was also the time he started 'noticing' the other teenagers around the hold, and thus began a flurry of near-misses that would make his mother proud. He quickly became an expert of hiding in closets, ducking into supply rooms, and climbing out of windows. He doesn't kiss and tell, and so far that's worked out nicely for him.
He was able to attend Chioneth and Aglayath's hatchings to watch his siblings. Neither Impressed the first time, but Kesricaur Impressed brown Remiath at the second. Kes- K'aur now- had a lot of work ahead of him. Mirima was determined to stay at the Weyr whether or not she Impressed, and neither E'kirim nor their mother fought hard against that. The two had always been searching for ways to leave home, and E'kirim was happy they found it. He was less happy, however, when they offered the family a chance to move to the Weyr. But it made his siblings and mom happy, so of course he went with them.
IE'kirim was Searched after he arrived at Dragonsfall, and after several convincing attempts by friends, family, and the Weyrlingstaff, he decided to try Standing. It only took a few tries before he Impressed bronze Norrianth, much to his amusement and his brother's horror.

Dragon's Name: Norrianth
Dragon's Age: 1
Dragon's Hatching Date: m3 d22
Dragon's Colour: Bronze
Description of Dragon:
Some might say that Norrianth is a muted earthy shade with that unmistakable bronze sheen, but E'kirim knows him for what he is: beige. A boring brownish beige that and untrained eye (like E'kirim's) would easily mistake for any brown across the weyrbowl. Luckily he'll grow into a big bronze, built to the exact specifications of the perfect bronze: sturdy and strong, with thick ropes of muscle, powerful hindquarters, and massive wings to carry him easily through the air.
For as big and powerful, there's hardly a thought behind his eyes. That's not to say he's dumb; he's not a moron, per se, but there's hardly any deep thoughts percolating in his mind. He's better described as simple, perhaps. He approaches life with a straightforwardness that can be both endearing and exasperating. He doesn't dwell on the why of things -- he simply exists in the moment, content to follow the rhythms of his instincts and the commands of his rider. Conversations with him are rarely profound. He speaks in short, direct bursts, most content to communicate in thoughts and feelings and sensations similar to the way firelizards do. His voice, though rare, has the same solidity as his physical form: steady, unyielding, and just a little unimaginative. A young E'kirim often mistakes Norrianth's voice for his own.
Despite this simple nature, Norrianth has a magnetic charm that can't be denied. There's a quiet confidence in the way he holds himself, a sense of purpose in every powerful wingbeat or rumbling roar. He doesn't need to overthink things because, to him, the world is uncomplicated: Thread falls, he flames it; E'kirim calls, he answers. It's as if his very simplicity shields him from the self-doubt or second-guessing that plagues other dragons and riders. He is, in every sense, a steadying presence, a rock amid the ever-shifting sands of Weyr life.
