Name: Ayrati
Age:
35
Birthday: m1 d24
Rank: Wingrider, Alpine Wing
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Physical Description of Persona:
Ayrati is about 4' 5" and very slender in build. She's put on quite a bit of weight after having four children, but is not out of proportion. Her hair is the same sandy brown color as her father. Her eyes are a light hazel color that match her complexion almost perfectly. The young woman resembles her mother in coloring and eye color. Both of her parents are tall, so they were suprised when their firstborn was so small.
Emotional Description of Persona:
Ayrati is a very spirited young woman who thought she deserved better than her husband was treating her after the birth of her three daughters. By the time she bore him a son, he had tried to dehumanize her so much that she couldn't stand to be near him. She knew there were better things than being his wife, she has a very optimistic outlook on life.
History of Persona:
Ayrati is the firstborn of D'wrayt and Eknaryi at Dragonsfall Weyr. She was raised at the weyrhold, but married a holder's fourth son when she was fourteen. He gave her the egg that hatched her brown for a wedding present and was extremely nice until she produced a firstborn daughter. By the time she was twenty, they had four children, three girls and a boy.
Her husband abused her and tried to harm their oldest daughter on more than one occasion. He blamed the fact that he didn't get the land on her because she had a boy after his brother recieved a portion.
She finally had had enough of his abuse and took her children to visit her parents at Dragonsfall Weyr. She worked as a drudge and was helping with the meat for the dragonets at a hatching, when she caught sight of a green whose wing was stuck on the eggshell.
Nobody was going to help the very tiny green and her cries were so helpless sounding that Ayrati rushed to help the green get unstuck. She quickly returned to her post, not realizing that the green might want her. She wondered who had Impressed that small green, so she turned around to see a pair of whirling eyes staring at her. Impression was made and the young woman's life changed forever. It wasn't until a few months later that she found out she was pregnant again.
When her husband heard of the event he sent a letter that simply stated that she was useless to him anyway and the weyr could keep her for all he cared. He quickly had all her belongings sent to the Weyr.
Ayrati was in the middle of her weyrling training when she had her second son, Geryn in month 5. She has since finished her weyrling training and is a member of Cyan wing. She's struggling to come to terms with being both a mother and a greenrider.

Description of Dragon:
Kaezioluth is a light shade of green and loves to be the center of attention.
