Physical Description of Persona:
Saria is much shorter than her older brother, yet still tall for a woman. They both share a wiry frame and the same color hair, only Saria's is much longer and is kept in a practical braid or in a knot on the top of her head when she doesn't have the time to braid. Her eyes are a shocking gray that she got from her father, and they reflect her static personality.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Like her brother, Saria's life has been nothing but difficult. The death of her family has not traumatized her in the way it has Faran and she remains a strong willed and independent young woman. Her temper is the opposite of her brother's and she is much more prone to mood swings. She loves to have fun, but finds it to be difficult in this new place.

History of Persona:
Born in Amber Hills a year after her older brother Faran, Saria grew up in the shadow of her gifted brother's glory. She loved her brother more than anything, but her parent's would never forget that he was their only son and first born, and she was just another girl. Her mother took more sympathy on her oldest daughter and encouraged her to find something she loved. Saria found a love of cooking and baking and began to take formal lessons as well as train behind her parents back.

After the earthquake at Amethyst Cliff, Saria found that she had reach out to this distant brother of hers and try to build a relationship. He proved to be more useful than she expected, and led her in his own way to the Weyr and freedom. Though she officially an Apprentice, she has proven she is capable of creating rather advanced confections after little studying. But something was odd about this new place. Alone at night, and eventually everywhere, she could hear voices she'd never thought about before.

Saria tried to ignore the more pressing voices. Never talking back to them or giving them a second thought. The weird thing was they never said the scary things that she'd always heard crazy people hear. They just talked; like they did it everyday. Now Saria has to deal with this new dilemma that she never thought could possibly be a problem, her ability to hear dragons.

A tiny little dog that Saria got from her aunt's dog's last litter, Scout lives up to his name, scouting out anything and everything in his new home. He loves to sit on the doorstep to his mistress's weyr and watch the dragons fly by, which makes Saria laugh. He has white fur splotched with brown and black spots
