Physical Description of Persona:
S'rak is of average height and weight, about 5'll 175 lbs. He has brownish-blond hair that shows signs of thinning that he keeps cut short. People would say that his best features are his eyes, bright blue like the sky. His hands are calloused and scarred from his many turns as a sea crafter, but any hint of tan that he had acquired out at sea has faded away leaving him with fairly pale skin. He has been lucky in his threadfighting and only has one long thin scar across his right leg. He prefers casual clothes, simple pants and tunic, but he does like to clean up nicely for a gather and is often mistaken for a harper at such events (from a distance) since he always wears blue to match his eyes.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Always level headed, it is a rare instance someone can make S'rak mad. He always has an ear available to listen and is a good dissector and analyzer of facts and information. The past few months have left him with occasional bouts of moodiness, but that is slowly fading away as he regains his calm demeanor.

History of Persona:
Born and raised at Far Island Weyr, Surak grew up loving dragons and the sea. He apprenticed as a seacrafter and made journeyman status before finally impressing at 20 turns to his bronze Radeth who was the first to hatch out of the clutch.

S'rak and Radeth made a good stable pair and moved into a wingsecond position by the time S'rak was 25 turns. That was about the same time that he realized he was in love with a greenrider named Torinica, and the two became weyrmates. Without the threat of thread falling S'rak was able to get his Senior Journeyman knots. During one of the first falls his Wingleader was injured and S'rak took over and became the new Wingleader. He enjoyed the position and found a pattern of happiness for himself and his weyrmate.

Those happy and fulfilled times were cut abruptly short during a threadfall six months ago when Torinica's green was hit by thread and both she and her rider went between forever. S'rak spent many months getting over the loss of his weyrmate, but with the help of Radeth and the knowledge that Torinica wouldn't want him to mourn forever, he's done his best to get on with his life. The open position for wingsecond at Dragonsfall Weyr gave him the chance to start over so he took the position in the hopes of making a fresh start.

A large bronze, he has a dark coloring. He doesn't talk much but
enjoys spending his days sunning on the beaches since he likes the feel
of the sand over rock. He was very attached to Torinica's green
Gilmiath, and rarely gave chase to any other green (but still chased
gold of course!).
