Tall dark and handsome is one of putting it. Az'uka is well tanned and often called sun-kissed, it's a small wonder that he hasn't ended up sunburnt. Az'uka wasn't always the somewhat stunning figure he has become, as a child he was scrawny and always thin around the middle. He even went through that awkward stage when his legs were seemingly too long of his body. Something which might have served him well in his Runner craft training. His early adult years saw seen him fill out and finally grow into the lean form he processed, right down or up as the case maybe, to his board shoulder blades. These almost push the idea of being too big, but edge off it, just like his long legs tend to. Some consider them to be slightly too board, but as long as his jacket fits the rider doesn’t mind too much. Like his face seem to have chiselled angles that hold a charm all of their own. They are considered angular and in need of fleshing out by some; but overall they serve the rider in question just fine.

Now he resembles something of a typical rider; lean… but faintly muscular because of all the swinging up and down from dragons. His legs are still length, but not to the point where they look out of place; that and his lungs are both well-developed given the fact his chosen craft as a younger boy was Runner. It’s true that he is far taller than most… can considered by some to be a giant of a man, but he himself doesn’t really notice it; This is quite possibly because Nizluth is well larger than what most call an average blue. There is also the fact that he always looks other people in the eye and thus at least always perceived to be on the same level as them… mentally perhaps. He also tends to stoop when Searching in order to come completely eye to eye with prospective candidates; even occasionally kneeling to meet them.

The only part of his face that doesn’t seemed to be as ‘pointed’ as his soft angles are his cheek bones which roll evenly away from his eyes in an unimposing manner. The whole package so to speak is tired off with an unruly mop of black hair; that has been every length from cropped short to the middle of his back. At the moment it barely reaches half way down his neck and can be stuffed away under his riding helmet without much fuss. Even so there always seems to be at least one strand that is content to hang over his eyes; or lean well forwards of his ear to tail down his cheek instead.

There is no doubt about it though; the most striking feature are his eyes. They are a deep; piercing blue that are permanently alight with emotion. As such they are clear signs of his mood at any given time (then again so can Nilzuth). It is because of this eyes that the rider has never been very good at lying… they tend to give him away; which isn’t always a bad thing as he tries to be more than honest at the best of times.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Az’uka is very much a happy go lucky kind of person; dominantly known for being upbeat and positive, most of the time. He even has a beaming grin that is more likely that most to spell trouble. He seems to be incapable of taking life seriously, choosing instead to laugh it off or make sly comments here and three; most of which end in his own roaring laughter. This rider is a flamboyant bi-sexual with a preference for women (although he has slept with plenty of men over the turns). Meaning he is known to be a rather outrageous flit at the best of times. Getting around is just a much of a challenge as anything else. In the past he has had several weyrmates; some times in one night

There is nothing he enjoys more than a challenge, unfortunately he takes most things on as a challenge. Especially if it has the potential to end in good wine and lots of laughter; of course if it starts with good wine he’s bound to try and keep it going. Over all Az’uka has a reputation of being highly approachable, easy to befriend; able to hold his wine and be something of an outright riot at the best of times. If one wants to be serious; or wants to have a serious life… Then one is highly unlikely to make friends with Az’uka; even if the man has a strong reputation of being a very loyal friend.

Under this jovial nature Az’uka has two more rather dominate personalities; the more vitreous of which is his protective streak. He’s a man who’ll do anything or his friends, even a little tough love if its needed. His apparently carefree nature means he tends to get under people’s guards very easily; which can lead him to seeming very frank when he’s honest. His protective streak leads into the bluerider’s biggest flaw… his temper. Which is usual very hard to invoke, but when it is it has a reputation of being rather violent; although he has never hit anyone in anger.

The bluerider is known to lose it when his family, friends of students are threatened in one way or another. His entire normal easy going attitude goes off the weyrledge and the rider is said to become tighter wound than a brooding queen. There are times when this flash anger has led to the rider holding a grudge for a few sevendays. When angry Az’uka is known to lash out; be it with overly harsh words, or physically hitting or kicking nearby inanimate objects.

Over all some of his actions are often headstrong and reckless which leads to divided feelings about the bluerider; if he should be praised for trying or ignored for being and idiot. Heartfelt pity to his Wingleader. So much so that there are those that believe the only way to get a message into this thick rider’s thick skull is for him to be badly wounded while carrying out one of his so called stunts. Az’uka might very well be the equivalent of a Pernese clown… perhaps the age old term of jester is more fitting as he is one of few to question those who hold rank both above and below him. Having said that there is a rare treat for people who can overlook the so called mask of stupid the man wears and can find Az’uka deceptively smart and even capable of commanding respect when needed; he just seems to act like a goof most of the time to cover up the fact.

History of Persona:
Born at Far Island Weyrhold Azeuka soon found a great love for dragons, he used to watch them for many candlemarks as he grew up. His passion evolved as he began to spend some of his spare time, running back and froth with supplies for the dragon healers. Despite his father's objections Azeuka took up an interest in the craft of Dragon healing in the Weyr. His father was annoyed at the boy to no ends, but didn't leave the Weyr. Instead taking his anger out on Azeuka's mother.

Azeuka stood at the Weyr sands for the first time he was 12 turns of age. Finally frustrated at his Fathers abuse, his mother took Azeuka and the fled the Weyr. In his new hold Azeuka trained in the runner craft.

Two turns later a small about of business saw Azeukas path back into Far Island Weyr. He was lucky enough to be there for a hatching and at 14 turns old he was asked by a few of the Weyr folk, who knew him to stand on the sands again. A little taken back by the request because he no longer lived there Azeuka stood on the sands in the white candidate robe for the second time in his life. Standing on the sands Azeuka was knocked flat (quite literally) by the Blue Nilzuth. Azeuka became Az'uka and he quickly re-adapted to Weyr life. He sent word to his mother and spent his months as a Weyrling under his father's rather hateful eyes

After his Weyrling training was finished his father refused to have anything to do with the boy and transferred out seven turns ago when Dream's End Weyr was reopened, mainly to get away from his son.

Now 28 turns old Az'uka has been moved to Dragonfalls Weyr.

Description of Dragon:
Nilzuth is large for a blue and is almost the size of a small brown dragon. His hide his deep twilight blue and seems to darken, if only slight on his muzzle, tail tip and feet. He lacks none of the agility of the smaller blue dragons.

As any young dragon is Nilzuth is willing to follow orders, even when some of Az'uka's requests area against those of their Wingleader. However he is relatively level headed and understanding to most. In fact it is often believed that he is the only that can stop Az'uka's crazy actions.
