Physical Description of Persona:
Oricahna is very slender and has a small build. She is very quick on her feet despite her small size. Her auburn hair is kept cut short in a boyish cut out of convinence and neccessity at times. Her eyes are a light brown color and her complexion is extremely tanned from all the time she spends in the sun riding or working with the herds.

Emotional Description of Persona:
The young woman isn't afraid of anything, not even tunnelsnakes. She volunteers to help the boys hunt tunnelsnakes and is fascinated by all animals. She doesn't see anything wrong with women being crafters and is glad to be at the Weyr since the Southern halls won't allow her to continue her apprenticeship. She has always been an inquisitive child and likes to know how things operate. She's always asking questions about how things got to be they were and how she could change them.

History of Persona:
Oricahna was born in the North and raised at the beastcrafthall where her parents both were crafters. Her mother's specialty was runners and that love for the beasts was passed down as a young girl. She's known how to ride since she was old enough to sit up on the runner by herself. She had wanted to bring her runner with her to the Weyr, but her father wouldn't allow it. She contents herself with working at the stables of River Bluff Weyr.

Her parents moved South when she was a junior apprentice. She wasn't allowed to continue her training and her mother had long since stopped actively practicing her craft in favor of raising her six children. Deciding her family meant more to her than gaining crafter knots, the young woman transfered South with them to Garnet Valley Hold. Her father was contracted with the hold and still resides there.

Until she was fifteen, Oricahna spent her time with the runners and the watchdragons. She was searched when one of the watchdragons happened to also be a Searchdragon. It took her nearly three months to convince her parents that she would be allright at the Weyr. She hadn't been there very long when she was met the journeywoman who asked her to help with a project.
