Physical Description of Persona:
Kakaru is tall and almost skinny looking, though he makes a point to stay fit. He lacks the bulk of someone with a heavier, more muscular physique, contributing to a lean, wiry look instead.
He has fair skin that's likely to burn if exposed to the sun for extended lengths of time without protection, and his hair is as black as night. His eyes are a deep blue that can appear brighter and more vivid when caught in the right light.
Emotional Description of Persona:
Taciturn and reserved at first impression, Kakaru isn't a chatterbox or openly gregarious. He tends to fade into the background and occasionally has to be prompted to engage. He's not arrogant, though it can come across that way on occasion.
He just… never seems to quite know what to say in the moment, and if suddenly put on the spot, he's prone to overthinking and veering towards stammering shyness.
To people who can look past that, however, Kakaru is genuinely interested in others, and _wants_ to be included. He enjoys being around any friends he makes, and he's more than willing to be persuaded to attend social gatherings even if he won't seek to be the center of attention. He listens well, and remembers even better. He's quiet, certainly, but he's loyal and dependable, and tries to show up for friends when it matters, even if it's just to show support by being near them.
History of Persona:
Kakaru was born to Karuna, a female Candidate at Dragonsfall, though from the beginning he was mostly raised by the creche and a foster-mother, as Karuna preferred to focus on potentially Impressing and her Craft.
Growing up, he spent much of his time in the creche, though his foster-mother made sure he received just as much attention as the louder, rowdier children in her care.
His father visited him rarely, and Kakaru valued those occasions, admired Obrianth when he was able to interact with the dragon.
His father K'leriac was a dragonrider, and so Kakaru determined that he wanted to be as well, taking up Standing when he turned twelve.
It wasn't long before he took up the Healercraft as well, after his first hatching left him standing there empty-handed. He refused give up, and in the meantime, well, there was more than one way to help the Weyr. He apprenticed to the Healers shortly after said Hatching, and continued to Stand whenever possible on top of infirmary duty and studying.
On m6 d25 of t13, after being bowled over by another hatchling, Kakaru Impressed to bronze Ivarroth
Family and Friends
K'leriac, 41, Retirees' Wingleader, Valley Wing, Dragonsfall Weyr (father)
Dragon's Name: Ivarroth
Dragon's Age: 0
Dragon's Hatching Date: m6 d25
Dragon's Hatching Place: Dragonsfall Weyr
Dragon's Colour: Bronze
Description of Dragon:
Ivarroth's hide is a dark gleaming bronze, almost as if cast from metal and then left to the elements to weather. His wings match the rest of him, and there's the faintest lightening on his chest and belly, though overall or from a distance he appears exactly the same colour all over, nose to tailtip.
While he's not as large as some of the other bronzes, there's a quiet weight in the way he moves, even in adulthood, that makes his presence noticeable.
The last to hatch, Ivarroth is slow and methodical in both words and actions. He will not rush in haste, nor will he budge from a decided course of action without a very good reason. He's certain of himself and his choices to the point of stubbornness, and he'll take pride in things done well.
That being said, Ivarroth _does_ have a temper, though buried deep and slow to rise. He'll remember things well, for a dragon at least, and both grudges and friendships will persist even after he's forgotten why.
