Physical Description of Persona:
Long eyelashes frame eyes that can't seem to make up their mind on whether they are green or blue. A sweet heart-shaped face makes her look more like a kid than a young woman, though her curves argue with that appearance. She's rather short with a small frame. While she's a woman, she doesn't usually dress like one. In fact, one would wonder if she even owns a dress.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Dependable and hardworking, outwardly Elyria seems secure and confident. Inwardly, there are times when she questions herself, wonders if she's made the right decisions or done the right things. She doesn't like hurting people and when something goes wrong, she worries that she has offended someone. In her craft, however, she is disciplined and doesn't let any insecurities interfere. Generally, she is optimistc, extroverted, affable, and sociable, but every once in a while she becomes pessimistic, introverted, wary, and reserved, especially if she feels she's done something wrong. She doesn't like upsetting others and when someone is down she will do her best to cheer that person up. She likes people and doesn't like it when people seem to dislike her.

History of Persona:
Elyria was born and raised in Dragonsfall Weyr. Her father was a dragonrider who had weyrmated with a resident of the Weyr. The weyr has been the only home that she's ever known and doesn't like the conservative view that the holdbred have about women.

She's always liked animals and had a fascination with being able to help ailing. There was a time that she thought about going into healing, but ended up preferring beasthealing over human healing. She apprenticed as soon as she was able and was also allowed to stand. She has yet to impress. While she certainly wants to impress, she knows it may not be a reality and as she's gotten older, she has become resigned to this possibility.

She has worked hard in her craft and walked the tables early in the second turn of the current pass. She has made a point to do her best and prove herself and not disappoint her superiors.
