Physical Description of Persona:
Roana stands about 5'4" and weighs about 135 pounds with a dark, chin length curls and hazel eyes. She is full figured and well proportioned; no one part of her seems overlarge or out of place. For the most part she can project any image she wants, down to delicate and helpless. Although she rarely is helpless these days, the look occasionally comes in handy.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Though Roana would never admit to it, she is very fragile emotionally. Moody, sometimes irrationally unhappy, other times perky and upbeat for no real reason, she can be hard to puzzle out. If someone else needs her, Roana will happily set her own issues aside and be strong and focused even if she'd been crying moments before. She has trust issues, and while she can easily let people in she often doubts their sincerity and desire to actually be part of her life. Her own insecurities make her cling to people and places that she would be better off letting go and push at the people she should want to keep.

History of Persona:
Born near Amber Hills, Roana lived a completely normal life as kin to a minor holder. She grew to despise her family and where they lived, wanting more than to become some random man's wife. She managed to be sulking in the right place on the day search riders came to the hold. Instantly attracted to her, the dragons and their riders were quick to offer to take her back to Dragonsfall with them and she was just as quick to accept.

Her mother was glad her daughter was selected, but secretly horrified that Roana could leave so easily. She made this known to her daughter, but even at fifteen, Roana had wanted to leave for so long she felt no guilt at taking the opportunity. She would miss her baby brother, but her older one had left for the weyr turns before. If she wanted family, she could look him up - certainly they'd probably get along far better than she did with any of her relatives at the cothold.

Over the next turn she stood at hatchings, until at 16 she impressed the lovely minty green Phiralith. She from then on adored weyr life in all its aspects. Roana weyrmated to a bluerider early on, and the relationship ended badly. It took turns before she and M'eirn could speak civilly again and it made her question jumping into romance with anyone for quite some time. Eventually she developed feelings for brownrider J'klin, but before she built up the courage to say anything, he was involved with a young woman named Arilanna, and not long after, transferred away.

The rest of her twenties have passed by quietly. Perhaps too quietly, really. More and more, Roana has been feeling like she's stuck in a rut, doing the same things with the same people for turns. Between that and Dragonsfall's miserable winters, she thought about a transfer for some time before finally approaching her wingleader with the request. Shortly thereafter, she found herself with orders to report for duty at River Bluff Weyr.

Description of Dragon:
Phiralith is a light pastel green, a solid and uniform mint color over her entire body. She is slender and dainty, although she's really average in size. She enjoys attention and does her best to get it for herself and her rider without being obnoxious about it. While she enjoys flirting, she tends to limit herself to a few favored males.

Tanga, Blue Firelizard: aged 14, hatched m10 d27
Tanga lives to collect shiny things. He stores them in a basket in Roana's weyr. If she over hears of something gone missing or finds something more valuable than simple tableware, Roana will return it.
