Physical Description of Persona:
At a slender 5'8, Vaile holds herself with a feline grace. Long legs make her look taller and a lithe build with just enough curves makes her desirable. Light brown eyes stand out against her heart-shaped face, giving the rest of her features a delicate cast. Vaile never quite got around to cutting her long blonde hair and it hangs in shining wheat-gold waves down to her waist. During practice and Fall, it's braided and wrapped around the crown of her head. Her skin is lightly tanned -- she has a tendency to burn rather than brown -- and her hands are lightly stained from redwort. Her alto voice has a rich timbre that can be heard singing with the harpers on some evenings.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Independent describes Vaile well. She doesn't do well relying on others, preferring to get it done herself. She'll overload herself to the point of collapse. Often only healers' orders will get her to rest. She is reliable, resourceful and seemingly unafraid, though in private moments, she fears losing her children to the point of panic. She regrets that being a dragonrider takes her away from mothering them so much. Vaile has a stubborn streak when she puts her mind to something, but is usually just moderately determined to see things through. She is constantly striving to learn, to excel, and to better herself.

The loss of her weyrmate Turns ago affected her greatly. For Turns, Vaile was closed off, afraid to love and lose again. Even though she has now started coming out of that grieving period, she is well aware of how quickly life can change and has started taking steps to treasure the meaningful moments that come.

History of Persona:
Vaile is Weyrbred, one of two daughters born to brownrider V'rane and his crafter weyrmate Ailiana. Being the elder, Vaile was able to spend more time with her mother but when her younger sister Variana was born at the age of four, both girls were fostered off. Vaile showed interest in dragonhealing as a teen and began apprenticing into that by the age of fourteen. She didn't spent long as an apprentice - Vaile Impressed Liranth on her first Hatching at the age of fifteen.

After weyrlinghood, she returned to her studies in the meanwhile, gaining her journeyman knots, but Liranth always took precedence. Vaile embraced her sexuality during the green's mating flights but played hard to get outside of it. She kept very few weyrmates, and none longer than a Turn. Her romance with bronzerider M'vel was the longest - on and off for nearly eight Turns, mainly due to his Ioreth's ability to catch Liranth often. It was he who gifted her with the brassy firelizard Torv at the age of twenty-seven. When Vaile finally settled on him as a permanent weyrmate at the age of twenty-nine, they began trying to start a family in earnest.

After several miscarriages, their first child, Miravaile, was born when Vaile was thirty-one. Being a dragonrider and a mother was hard on Vaile and she thought that conceiving again would be the answer because at least for those nine months, her child was with her. Their second child, Moraile, was born when Vaile was thirty-four but M’vel would not live to see it. He contracted firehead while Vaile was pregnant and died three days later. Vaile never thought her heart would break so badly and she struggled over the next Turn to scrap together her life.

Description of Dragon:
Liranth is a deep forest green color. The webbing of her wings is a paler shade of this green, echoed again in the highlights of her ridges. Large enough to compete in size with blues, Liranth prefers browns and bronzes for mates. She has a smattering of Scores on her tail and hindquarters but nothing marring.

Liranth is equally as independent and strong-willed. She can be bossy with other greens. Unlike her rider, Liranth enjoys showing off her strong form to males and seems more at ease with settling down than Vaile. Liranth has a vain streak when she nears her mating flights - Vaile often jokes that she is a green-colored queen during this time.

Torv is a coppery bronze with nearly red undertones. He is often seen draped around Vaile's shoulders, her staunch protector and well-behaved assistant.
