Physical Description of Persona:
Firsa is a tall, thin, angular woman standing at 6'2" and weighing in at 170lbs. She has auburn hair that's bleached to an off-red colour from years spent in the sunshine, and her skin has been burnt to a freckled brown. Her nose is long and hawkish and her eyes are a light brown that borders on amber. She isn't a pretty woman, but she does tend to draw the eye, and would never be mistaken for a man.
Emotional Description of Persona:
Firsa is a very demanding woman, both of herself and of others. She demands respect and honesty, and can't stand beating around the bush. She's about as empathic as a stone, but makes up for it with good humour (if rather scathing) and an outgoing nature. She's far from shy, and tends towards many casual friends (and enemies) than close relationships. Firsa also has a weak spot for children, as she has been unable to have any of her own.
History of Persona:
Firsa is the only daughter of a pair of cotholders. She and her mother were always very close, and when she was engaged at thirteen to a nearby cotholder's son, both she and her mother were delighted. Unfortunatly, less than a week later, Firsa caught a fever that left her bedridden for weeks. The Healer thought it was unlikely that she would be fertile after her illness, and her fiance called off the engagement.
Firsa didn't know what to do with herself after that, especially since she was now a nobody -- a woman that wasn't fertile was next to useless. Her father wanted to keep her on as an extra pair of hands, and as someone to take care of them as he and his wife aged, but her mother pleaded with him to send her to Dragonsfall Weyr.
Her father eventually relented and she was bundled off to the hated Weyr, where she apprenticed as a Beastcrafter as she had experiance with animals. Although she hated it and everyone around her at first, after a few years, she couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
