Persona Profile: Erivana

Writer: Avery (ONPC)

Name: Erivana
Age: 23
Birthday: m4 d17
Rank: Wingrider, Sienna Wing
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Craft: Dragonhealer
Craft Rank: Senior Apprentice

Physical Description of Persona:
Erivana stands at 5'5 and is of slightly above average weight. Some of it is muscle and some is a generous chest and rear. Her hair is brown that's been lightened and given a reddish tint by the sun. She wears it in a bun pinned on her head when working, and when it's loose it falls to the end of her chest. She has almond-shaped brown eyes, a rounded nose, and full lips.

Emotional Description of Persona:
By nature, Erivana is a person of strong and changeable moods. She has been raised to conceal her feelings behind a mask of calm politeness and keep a handle on her emotions so they don't control her. This has made her into a reserved person, and sometimes she can come across as disinterested and cold.

Erivana craves stability and security. She likes things to be predictable and in order, and can get snappish when things change unexpectedly. Hyper-focusing on details she can control is how she keeps a cool head in rapidly changing situations. She can get very withdrawn and sullen when things change too much from her sense of how the world should be.

History of Persona:
Erivana was born at Thayan Peak Weyrhold to a pair of dragonrider parents. Her mother was Holdbred and was as involved as she possibly could be in her daughter's life. Erivana grew up with confidence she could be or do anything with her life. She knew she wanted to be a crafter but debated if she wanted to follow her mother or if she wanted to break away from the expectations and do something else.

She spent a Turn and a half trying out different crafts as a helper before finally apprenticed to the dragonhealers, because it was in fact her favorite craft and not just because it was expected. She didn't want to receive special treatment and worked extra hard to be seen as good on her own merits and not because of her mother.

When her mother moved to River Bluff Weyr to take the Weyrdragonhealer position, she followed along. It was odd to be the Weyrdragonhealer's daughter and she was relieved when her mother stepped down from the workload to be just a Master. Despite standing for every clutch, knowing a dragon was a requirement to progress past the apprentice rank, she's been passed up every time.

Now that River Bluff is gone, she had moving to Dragonsfall with other survivors. Erivana hoped maybe the third span of Sands will make the difference, and it did, with her Impressing to Seryth in Chioneth's first clutch of the Turn.

Seryth's first flight left Erivana pregnant with a child by K'yne. She plans to keep the child and negotiate at least a working friendship with him to make it easier. They're currently in a roommate arrangement. Baby Keriv was born on Turn's End of Turn 9.

Family and Friends
Eridhiya, 53, Wingrider, Cobalt Wing, Dragonsfall Weyr (mother)
K'yne, 46, Wingsecond, Cobalt Wing, Dragonsfall Weyr (pseudo-weyrmate)
Keriv, 2, Weyrbrat (son)

Dragon's Name: Seryth
Dragon's Age: 2
Dragon's Colour: Green
Next Mating Flight: m6 d11 of turn 12
Description of Dragon:
Seryth is average in length for a green dragon, and appears on the hefty side, as though she hasn't lost all of her dragonet baby fat despite having reached her full growth . She is a pale seafoam green.

Seryth is a very social dragon, happy to spend time interacting with other dragons. She can be very flighty and forgetful even for a green, but her sweet and affectionate temperament make up for a lot.
