Physical Description of Persona:
Taeshin has black hair that he keeps cut short and very close to the scalp. His skin is a dark brown complexion, and so are his eyes; though from a distance the look to be black. He stands at about five feet, eleven inches and weighs one hundred and sixty pounds. His body is slightly toned, from doing chores and lugging buckets of numbweed. On his left elbow and travelling up to his shoulder is a large black splotch, resembling a small seasnake crawling up his arm that he has had from birth.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Taeshin is a joker. His sense of humor is really big and he can laugh at almost anything, especially himself. To someone who doesn't know him intimately it would seem that he and his friends are constantly fighting, always picking on each other, but really they are having fun and nothing is taken seriously. He loves to lend a helping hand, and is a good listener that gives great advice, however he rarely follows his own advice. He is a lover of all types of music and secretly wishes that he could sing even a little. He is also a man of his word and fiercely loyal. He will do whatever he can for his friends, which often leads him into some bad situations. His personal pet peeves are being late or being kept waiting. Taeshin does not have a lot of patience and doesn't like to be bored, or to do idle work. He has been known to show a cold disdain towards certain people, no one knows why, no even Taeshin. Sometimes there are people he will meet that immediately he will take a disliking too, and it is hard to sway him away from his initial feeling. Taeshin has also shown that he can have a pretty mean jealous streak, and can be somewhat hostile towards those his jealousy is aimed at.

History of Persona:
Taeshin was a typical weyrbrat; born to Dragon Rider parents, but raised by everyone in the Weyr. As a child he was always giggling, always running around with the herd of other weyr children, getting into whatever trouble he could. He never lacked for love, and never seemed to lack the ability to give love either. His joy of life was evident in the constantly smiling face and sweet laugh ringing everywhere he went. Once, while climbing steps at a break-neck pace, he fell and rolled back down. Some people of the Weyr saw, and ran to him, seeing him shaking from a distance and fearing the worse. Once they got closer they saw that he was shaking from laughing. Tears of mirth, and a little pain, were running down his cheek as he got up and dusted himself off, that indomitable spark of joy still in his eyes.

The first time Taeshin truly cried from sadness was when he knew what he wanted to do in life. He was about twelve turns old when one day after Threadfall he heard the most horrible sound. He followed that sound to the Bowl of the Weyr, to see a Blue dragon, writhing in pain, lacerations from Thread burned into his flesh. Taeshin cried, and watched as the weyrfolk and Dragonhealers soothed and helped the ailing beast, working tirelessly to take care of the dragon. It was then that he decided that Dragonhealing was what he wanted to do, as a token to his Rider parents, and to give back to the Weyr that had given him so much happiness. He followed the Dragonhealers around as much as he could over the next few weeks, until the Master took him on as an apprentice. He dove into his Craft studies with the same gusto and joy that he did with everything else, determined to be great at his chosen Craft so he could be useful when the time came for his services to be needed.

Over the next few turns his life became routine; Craft lessons and chores, downtime with friends, and helping out during Threadfall. It wasn't until after he became a Junior Apprentice that another one of life's surprises came his way. Once his Master saw that he was committed to being a Dragonhealer, Taeshin began standing on the Hatching Sands. Like every other Dragonhealer, he needed a Dragon to be effective at the craft. A Dragon partner would help calm an pain-ridden dragon, so that the Dragonhealer could work without fear of being hurt by thrashing tails or the like, since a hurt dragon probably meant a hurt Rider as well. In the beginning Taeshin did not take thus opportunity, and Duty seriously. He entered the Hatching Sands with the wrong idea about being a Rider, his thoughts and actions were not committed to Impressing. Then, once one of his closest friends, another kid in the herd of weyrbrats he grew up with, stood on the Hatching Sands as a Candidate, and Impressed a beautiful green dragon. However, instead of feeling joy for his friend, Taeshin was overcome with jealousy. Taeshin could barely hug his friend the next day, wrapped by such envy it that is shocked him to his core. Taeshin never thought of himself as Rider material until that day that someone close to him Impressed, and suddenly the thought wouldn't leave his mind.

Hatchings came, and Impressions were made but never for Taeshin, and each time his jealousy only deepened. Taeshin's Master was already cutting back on his Craft lessons, and beginning to point Taeshin towards other Crafts like Beasthealing. But Taeshin was determined to a Dragonhealer, and so too now he was determined to become a Rider. His love of the Craft, and this new found jealousy were his fuel to achieve his goals.

That streak of jealousy landed him in trouble with the Weyrwoman, and almost caused him not to be able to Stand. However he was able to own up to his attitude and correct the problem and try and mend the relationships he had severed, so he was allowed to Stand for Angdelouth's clutch. It was then, finally, after Turns of waiting that Taeshin was chosen by the brown Raisheth and chose the name T'aesh, in honor of his father. Now T'aesh is still mending fences while learning what it means to love and be loved by one of Pern's magnificent dragons.

Description of Dragon:
Raisheth is on the larger end for a Brown, but not sizing with the largest Browns. His hide is a dark brown, like polished wood, that fades into a tan on his under belly and the end of his tail. He is a newly hatched dragonet, so he is more focused on eating and sleeping. but he has shown a straight forward personality and the ability to reign T'aesh in when his emotions get the best of him.
