Physical Description of Persona:
Tae' is never going to someone immediately recognized within a group. Her hair is a medium length, cut to one single length that just reaches past her shoulder blades. It's a medium brown sort of colour, and usually to be found tied up at the nap of her neck, either in a bun or just left to hang. Even when she leaves it 'loose' the front parts are pulled back out of the way. Her face is equally unmemorable, medium brown eyes, and features that are neither too small nor too large. She smiles quickly enough, for what that's worth, but that's still not often enough to pull her out in a crowd of people. Her height doesn't help either, 5'3" isn't going to gain her much attention, and it's all in all unsurprising Tae feels like "little miss average" a lot of the time. She dresses the part too usually, simple outfits in simple colours, pulling attention to herself is usually not something she's interested in doing. Once upon a time she'd pull out more colourful clothing, when dragons came to the Hall on search - but they've never paid the slightest bit of attention, and so gradually she stopped bothering and the clothes were handed down to younger residents.
Emotional Description of Persona:
Quiet, and thoughtful, Tae is at times prone to daydreaming - she was, to be fair, far worse as a child - but when doing a monotonous task her mind will quickly occupy itself elsewhere. Once upon a time these daydreams revolved around a life outside the Hall, as a harper, a healer, a farmer, a dragonrider, you name it she dreamt of it as a child. She's grown up in the last few years, and having found she has quite a passion for cooking, her daydreams about life outside the Hall have all but ceased... to be replaced by daydreams about less dramatic things. Boys feature regularly, as is to be expected of a teenage girl, but firelizards are another favourite... dragons, well, she still holds out a little hope - but it's definitely not the end of the world if it doesn't happen anymore. Infact, if it did, Tae would probably be quite torn... she's grown quite fond of her kitchens worker life and the people in it.
A bit lacking in self-confidence, as previously mentioned Tae is growing quite fond of cooking (she's as surprised as everyone else that's she's finally found something that keeps her interest!), but while she loves to invent new dishes, and add unusual herbs to common dishes to make them different, she lacks the confidence to really try them out - and definitely lacks the confidence to suggest them to, well, more influential persons then herself... because, well, truth be told? Tae couldn't influence anyone if she tried; she's far to easily swayed.
History of Persona:
Born and bred at the Vintner Hall, Tae's father is a Journeyman Vintner, her mother works in the crèche, and her siblings all fit somewhere in between. She's the second daughter, and fifth child, of the seven children born to the couple and not one of them has yet left the Vintner Hall. Which, as a child was Tae's goal - it wasn't that she disliked the Hall, she just found it a little boring and having not even visited further afield then the once 'distant' (to a child) Amber Hills Hold, Tae's imagination would always run wild about the exciting places that she was missing out on. That many of the places would not live up to her hopes never occurred to the younger Tae. As she grew older, reality settled in, as reality has a tendency to do. She still hadn't seen the places, at least not in person, but people came and went from the Hall and with them came stories - exciting and interesting of course, but there were negative aspects to most of the stories too which helped to push reality into the childish fantasies.
It still took Tae' turns to discover what she wanted to do with her life, as a teenager she helped her mother in the crèche, but despite her active imagination and knack for entertaining children to be blunt - they kind of annoy her, the polite ones she's fine with, but temper tantrums and crying fits... well they were never something she (or any of her "well raised" siblings) did, and so she doesn't see the need for them. She would have liked to have learnt a bit of what her father (and elder brothers) did, but obviously that path wasn't open to her. Laundry filled some time, but washing clothes didn't really excite her much either. Helping with the stables, far to masculine a job for her mother's tastes. Cleaning, boring. And so the list went on.
It wasn't until after the earthquake that Tae ended up in the kitchens. With staff stretched all over the place, and some mourning lost love ones (there were no losses to Tae's immediate family, thankfully), Tae found herself there one day. Obviously, she'd been there before, but chopping and cleaning vegetables could only be considered so interesting, but with the shortage of staff she found herself doing some less mundane tasks, and finding herself interested by it... and the more she watches (she never quite dares to ask many questions), the more interested she becomes.
As for the whole marriage thing? Tae's escaped it, purely because no-one has seemed to notice she's escaped it. She never really talks about herself, and perhaps people mistake her for being younger then she is, so it's not really come up - even her mother has been busy with other worries since the earthquake, finding a suitable match for one plain daughter has been forgotten in all the chaos. Especially since the earthquake found Tae's family three larger, orphans Tae's mother took in.
