Physical Description of Persona:
At 6 ft, 2 in tall, his long and lean body has been made hard and strong by his life as one of the holdless. His long straight dark brown hair is now sun bleached and kept pulled back in a runner tail. Pale green eyes sit evenly above his average size nose and his narrow lips. His skin browned by his many days in the open. His back and legs bear the scars of many beating received from his Father, and now show white against his dark skin. His left cheek bears the scar from a fight with a Trader. Terainel had offered to work off the payment for the assistance he had received from the Trader, but he thought better payment for the assistance was a roll in the bed as he preferred young men over women.

Emotional Description of Persona:
His time out on his own has made him a strong and determined young man despite the years of mental abuse from his father. Always wanting to please, he dislikes conflict, but he knows what it takes to get what ever job is offered him. He is a little sad because he would like to get to know others, but dares not in fear of being returned to his father.

History of Persona:
Being the oldest son of a family of Runners he was expected to be a Runner. He fought his father at every turn. He had no desire to be a Runner. With his father continually trying to get him to commit and Terainel constantly refusing, his father would berate and beat him. His last day at home was tainted by yet another argument with his Father which led to a fight in which Terainel was in for yet another beating. While his Father approached him, Terainel decided enough was enough, and escaped from his father with nothing but the clothes he was wearing. Now with 1 and a half turns on his own, he has worked here and there doing small jobs for food and sometimes he was given clothing and shoes. His fear of being found and returned to his family keeps him moving from place to place. On the day he was found by a passing search dragon, he panicked and tried to hide, but the rider was able to find him and talk him into coming to the Weyr.
