Physical Description of Persona:
5'7'' with a sweet round face and bouncy blonde curls she wears to just below her chin, Eleada also possesses a natural lithe and long-legged grace that combines well with her lean dragonrider physique. She is well aware of men's attention, and is not above flaunting herself to get what she wants. Her clear green eyes are the color of her dragon and almost constantly sparkling with emotion, and her mouth seems to be stuck in an infectious smile. Stretching from the back of her left shoulder to hip is a thin threadscar from her fourth Threadfall.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Kind-hearted, optimistic, and occasionally mischievous, Eleada loves a good laugh –but not at the expense of someone else. She refuses to bed anyone without careful consideration outside of a flight and never when drunk, causing occasional bad feelings among spurned males. She welcomes her reputation as a tease with relief since it means fewer men actually expect her to follow up on her advances, and despite her dreams of a perfect weyrmate she almost never lets her partners get close to her. Although she prefers to enjoy life, Eleada is surprisingly sensible and never knowingly shirks her responsibilities. She believes strongly that dragons and their riders exist to fight Thread, and becomes cranky and generally unbearable when she has to miss a fall for any reason. When the occasion calls for it she can be unnaturally determined and steel-willed, and has been known to bodily fling unwanted potential bedmates from her weyr.

History of Persona:
The seventh child born to her mother, Eleada is the baby of her family. Her father was a bluerider looking to blow off steam after a flight, and her mother Dyrada was a trader's daughter before she ran off to Thayan Peak. Eleada was a typical reckless weyrbrat, and spent her time climbing shamelessly all over any dragon that would let her since her much older half-siblings thought she was too much of a baby to play with. One of her earliest memories was of being placed on the neck of her brother's young brown, and she knew then with unwavering certainty that she was destined to be a dragonrider. Despite her mother's urgings she never showed an interest in a craft, and she watched in frustration from the stands as each of her older siblings began to Impress.

To her family's ecstatic cheers, she Impressed Gliorith at 14. Gliorith mellowed her, but not enough to overcome her shock at getting pregnant with Adaric on her first flight. She quickly discovered a pattern that annoyed her to no end –she was sharding _fertile_. Almost any encounter with a man in her bed resulted in her pregnancy. The twins Eleadan and Eleaxol were her only attempt for a daughter, and they resemble her so closely that she still doesn't know which of her four lovers at the time was the father. The hard birth nearly killed her, and gave her a sobering understanding of her own mortality. She severely curtailed her romantic encounters after that, although it wasn't until complications arising from a miscarriage left her in bed for a month that she started refusing casual offers entirely. She felt betrayed by her body's reaction to one of her favorite activities, and the consequences of a single night's fun no longer seemed to be worth risking for just anyone.

When the northern weyrs started opening, most of her siblings departed. Eleada volunteered to move to High Reaches, leaving her children with her mother and their cousins in Dolphin Cove. She fell in love with the frozen splendor of the northern mountains despite never acclimatizing to the cold. She took a roommate a short time later, Linrary, a lesbian weaver candidate who failed to Impress. Eleada had no interest in women, but they were close enough friends that she saw Linrary as the kind of sister she had always dreamed of. Both women had their own lovers and Gliorith's weyr was a quiet retreat after a bad night.

Despite a few minor scores in the first month of Threadfall, Eleada and Gliorith were a good fighting pair and managed to avoid being badly injured until their third turn fighting Thread. While flying in a strong wind a large clump of Thread caught Gliorith across her left hindquarters and tail, eating deeply before she could vanish /between/. In her panic Eleada unfastened her riding straps before landing in the bowl so she could dismount and help the healers faster. Gliorith's injuries did not allow her to make a clean landing, and when her damaged hind leg buckled Eleada was flung a fair distance away. Between Gliorith's scores and Eleada's broken bones from hitting the ground, it was months before they could return to the fighting wings.

Shortly before Eleada was allowed to leave the infirmary, Linrary fell ill with the mountain fever and died. Eleada had always gotten cold easily and wrapped up twice as much as the rest of the weyrfolk, but the northern cold now combined with her grief to bother her intensely in her newly healed bones. She couldn't bear to return to her cold and empty weyr after that, and took to hanging around the warmer and livelier dining cavern at all hours, occasionally falling asleep there unintentionally. After a sufficient number of people tripped over her getting klah and complained, the weyrwoman suggested that she move to a warmer weyr when Gliorith healed. Feeling lost without Linrary, Eleada agreed to return to her mother and children at Dolphin Cove, hoping to escape the memories of her friend.

Description of Dragon:
Gliorith is one of the smaller greens, a fact she uses to her advantage as her size makes her more maneuverable. She loves to fly, and her small size and fearlessness is matched by her rider's love of daredevilry, making them a natural stunt pair. A uniform soft bottle green, she bears heavy scarring across her left hindquarters and upper tail, but they stop just short of her wings. Her left hind leg is often stiff after sleeping, and she tends to limp until her rider reminds her to exercise it. To Eleada's bafflement she has developed a strong attachment to Arieoss, and likes to watch the feline hunt or play in the weyr.

Arieoss, female feline, 5. Shaggy white with brown patches, Arieoss was Linrary's feline before she died, and was inherited by Eleada. As smart as any feline, Arieoss is convinced that Eleada and Gliorith are her pets, and not the other way around. She has no fear of dragons, and loves to curl up on Gliorith's back to sleep. She is not particularly affectionate to Eleada unless she is upset or it is an inconvenient moment, but she will sleep with her at night if Eleada places her on the bed. She loves hunting tunnelsnakes, and will often gift her owner with their carcasses by leaving them on her pillow or tucked into the bedfurs.
