Physical Description of Persona:
Y'sani is of average height, with well defined muscles that come not just from turns of dragonriding, but from a love of hard, physical activity. Swimming, running, fighting, riding, sports... it doesn't matter what sort of activity it is, as long as it's outdoors and physical. Spending so much time outdoors has given his already dusky skin a permanent tan.

With brown hair that he stubbornly allows to grow to his shoulders in the back and hazel eyes filled with a cheerful arrogance, Y'sani is a man who gets his fair share of longing looks from the ladies.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Though no one would ever accuse him of being unintelligent--at least not to his face--Y'sani is not one to spend more time than necessary in studies or intellectual pursuits. He finds reports and hidework to be deathly dull, and has only learned to tolerate it for just long enough to satisfy his ambitions.

Luckily for Y'sani, the one thing he is _very_ good at happens to be the one thing that is his job: training new riders. His ability to take in a group of new weyrlings and turn out a group of riders has bought him a little leniency when it comes to things he's less skilled at. Without a skilled 'second and 'third, however, Y'sani is at a loss when it comes to the administrative details of his job.

History of Persona:
Born to the son of a Guard Captain at a Minor Hold, it's no surprise that Yatasani grew up well trained in how to defend himself. His father had every intention of training his eldest son to follow in his footsteps, so Yatasani's lessons in tactics, leadership and training began at an early age as well. Unfortunately for his father, his ambitions far outstripped the prospects that leading a small troop of guards in the hills offered. When a greenrider arrived on Search, Yatasani took his chances, even knowing that at twenty, he wouldn't have many chances to Impress.

When bronze Luthinath cracked his shell, Yatasani's feelings that there was something more for him were confirmed. Now called Y'sani, he set his eyes early on the job he wanted. Not Weyrleader or Wingleader, like many of his fellow bronzeriders, but the position that, in his mind, was the most important: Weyrlingmaster.

He spent the next twenty-six turns realizing that goal, and while he was happy enough in his current job, when the call came out for a new Weyrlingmaster at Dolphin Cove, Y'sani couldn't resist the challenge. Knowing that the weyrlings had had several different Weyrlingmaster's in the past turn, Y'sani had arrived intending to put things to rights and start turning out the sort of warriors who will fight Thread and make Dolphin Cove proud.

After a disagreement with the Weyrleader over the age at which weyrlings could join the fighting wing, Y'sani was returned to the fighting wings.

Luthinath is a large bronze with impressive stamina, though he gives up some agility for his bulk. He is his rider's perfect match in all things, good at dealing with the dragonets while his partner takes care of the Weyrlings.
