Fielton looks like a man in his prime. His dark brown hair has not even started to turn silver, and his eyes are a clear piercing blue that see everything, much to the dismay of many an apprentice and a few journeymen. His body is lean and muscled--Fielton is not one to shun the hard work and heavy lifting involved in his Craft. He enjoys being active and outside most of the time, and has a very well developed tan. Most women would find him handsome--and attractive--if it weren't for his personality.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Fielton has always been a harsh taskmaster and unforgiving of stupidity. These traits became more pronounced since Fielton's wife left and took both of their daughters with her. His temper was even shorter than usual, and it was not unusual for him to leave apprentices sobbing in his wake, along with any thin-skinned journeymen who weren't used to his caustic nature.

His recent marriage to young Badia dulled his temper briefly, but losing her and his beloved Hall in the recent earthquake may bring back the old Fielton... or maybe someone even worse.

History of Persona:
Fielton grew up in the Vinter Hall, and was considered to be very gifted as an apprentice. He enjoyed the craft immensely, and never looked past the doors of Vinter Hall. His progression in the craft proceeded normally enough, resulting in Senior Journeyman status when he was twenty-five.

It was shortly after his thirty-first birthingday that Fielton met his wife-to-be, a beautiful young woman who had come to the Hall when her father transferred. Jayzine didn't particularly care for Fielton, but her father felt differently--especially when it became clear that Fielton was going to be promoted to Master at a very young age.

The wedding came a few days after Fielton was presented with his Master's knots at thirty-three. Jayzine, recently turned nineteen, resented that her father had given her away as a prize, and made the first few turns of their marriage nearly unbearable for Fielton.

Their relationship was never happy, but the birth of two daughters who both of them adored seemed like it might be enough to bring them together--in friendship if not true love. Fielton was promoted to Hallsecond, and though he lacked the son he craved, he had no real complaints about his life.

It might have been enough for happiness if Jayzine hadn't gotten pregnant a third time while Fielton was away on an extended trip.

Furious at her infidelity, Fielton refused to have anything to do with her while she was pregnant with another man's child. It turned out to be the wrong decision. The Hallmaster stepped down days after Jayzine gave birth, and with his promotion to Hallmaster, there was enough chaos in the following month that Fielton didn't realize that what Jayzine was planning until she was already gone--and both of their daughters with her.

For reasons no one can completely fathom, she left her newborn son with one of the foster parents the morning of her flight--and she never picked him back up. The baby has been adopted by some of the support staff, and Fielton will have nothing to do with him.

Fielton eventually had his marriage declared over by Alalir, and shocked the entire Hall by finding a new woman to marry within a month. Badia was young, pretty, and acted demure and flattering enough to soothe Fielton's badly damaged ego.

Their short marriage was punctuated by passionate highs and the occasional fight involving objects flying at Fielton's head, but it showed every indication of being the sort of relationship that might have done Fielton some good.

Tragedy struck in month 11 of the third Turn, though, and Fielton lost not just his young wife but his entire Hall as well. Though thus far he has buried his grief in the work needed to bring the Vintner Hall to its new home, only time will tell if Fielton will recover from this latest blow.
