Physical Description of Persona:
Standing at 6' even, Zy'fen isn't the tallest rider around, but he's no slouch. With dark brown hair that has recently gained a few greys, striking pale grey eyes, and a tan that has started to fade a bit, Zy is very fastidious about his appearance. He was meticulous about making sure he was clean and presentable, clean shaven and without a speck of lint or dust on his clothes or person.

He has the expected scars from Threadscore, the most noticeable being his missing lower left leg.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Zy'fen was generally happy and unafraid to speak his mind, and enjoyed flirting with just about any female who looked his way, at least, before he asked his lover to become his weyrmate, that is. He loved being a wingrider and spending time with his weyrmate and Nerenth.

Since his injury, he has become withdrawn and reticent, preferring to stay hidden away in his weyr, where he doesn't have to see the pity he believes he sees in the eyes of others.

History of Persona:
Born Zyrenefen, to a bronzerider and a Harper Journeywoman, he spent most of his life in Igen Weyr, where he was chosen as a Candidate at a young age. He Impressed brown Nerenth at the age of nearly 17, and after graduating, became a wingrider, then eventually a Wingleader.

His life changed, however, when a Thread scored his left leg so badly that, unfortunately, it had to be amputated. He and Nerenth went /between/ to freeze it off, then had to land so Zy'fen could get help. The Healers rushed to save his life, but the Threadscore was severe enough that they were forced to amputate his left leg below the knee.

Now Zy'fen seeks to transfer to a Weyr where he can recover and get away from the memories of pain and pity.

Description of Dragon:
Nerenth prefers to be just as clean and spotless as his Rider, and will spend any free time he has either bathing or preening. He is a kind and thoughtful brown, though he recently had to be stubborn and refuse to allow His Rider to get lost in the darkness of depression, even going so far as to threaten to drag Zy'fen out of their weyr, like a mother feline with a naughty kitten, if necessary.
