Physical Description of Persona:
N'tan is broad shouldered, but not particularly tall. He has a thick salt and pepper beard, but he keeps what hair remains on his head shaved bald. There's a long healed but nasty looking scar on the left side of his head. Turns of dragonriding have left him very weathered looking.

Emotional Description of Persona:
N'tan is a quiet, reserved man who mostly keeps to himself. Even tempered and soft spoken, he's just friendly enough to get along with most people, but spends most of his free time alone in his weyr working on hobbies, other than for the sacred weekly poker game he attends.

He’s a good wingrider, always performing well. He’s punctual and serious.

History of Persona:
N’tan was the youngest son of a particularly large farming family who was searched for Thayan Peak Weyrhold to stand for one of the rarer pre-Fall clutches. The head scar actually dates back to his pre-Impression days- he was kicked by a runner in his youth in a blow that was glancing, but stitched up poorly by inexperienced hands, but he likes to tell various more exciting stories if anyone asks about it.

He found weyrhold life a little overwhelming at first, in large part because his first hatching left him with a loud, rambunctious brown. Eventually he adapted and settled in.

In his twenties, he settled down with a Weyrmate, and they had a few children, the oldest of whom impressed to a pretty little green. The peaceful period of his life didn’t last terribly long however, disrupted by the destruction of Thayan Peak. He and his weyrmate drifted apart in a mostly amicable split, not helped by the loss of their eldest child in an early Threadfall. Eventually, he found himself alone at the new Dolphin Cove Weyr, and has remained there to this day.

Never having quite let go of the farm boy inside, N'tan has a little garden on his ledge, various herbs and small plants that he lovingly tends in little pots.

Description of Dragon:
Bastiath is a medium sized,reddish colored brown, his hide sprinkled with scars from Thread and other more youthful misadventures. A common sight in the Infirmary, he's made more than his fair share of visits for increasingly improbable injuries (no, N'tan doesn't know how his brown managed to rip a claw off on a rest day, and Bastiath has either forgotten, or isn't telling).

Bastiath is friendly, but not the smartest of browns, and is prone to taking risks simply due to not considering the consequences of his actions. He's not popular with the other dragons because his competitive nature can make him pushy and rough with other dragons.

Pets

Basil, Feline: aged 6, born m11 d2
A once raggedy and half starved kitten N'tan came across one day and brought home "just until he got bigger", Basil has since mostly taken over the brownrider's weyr and can often be seen lounging among the plants.
