Physical Description of Persona:
Short obsidian hair that falls in a chin-length shaggy cut, frames a pair of high cheekbones and a slightly pointy chin. This serves as the foundation of Lyani's sassy appearance. Her eyes are a soft hazel-blue with flecks of brown near the irises. She has one prominent freckle on her right cheekbone that, once again, just serves her spunky nature. A pert nose and slightly pursed lips finish off her face. The rest of her body is long and lanky, at 5'9". She is in fantastic athletic shape. There is very little in the way of curves along her slender body, but she prefers it that way.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Lyani is a free spirit in every sense of the word. The only thing Lyani truly cares about is living life to its fullest, no matter the circumstances. She works hard when it's time to work, and she plays hard when it's time to play. Serious when the time calls for it, Lyani tries to avoid situations that call for it. She's sharp-witted with a sassy sense of humor, which probably annoys the more prudish people around her.

History of Persona:
Lyani was born and raised at Far Island Weyr. She was raised in a pack of weyrbrats, and was only truly related to one of them, her cousin Saibra who was quite a bit older than she, and who later became Weyrwoman of Dragonsfall Weyr. You would think that would have become a logical place for Lyani to go and live, but Lyani loves the sand and the water of Dolphin Cove Weyr.

When she was sixteen, Lyani impressed to her green Phyllameth on the sands of Far Island Weyr. Having a dragon only served to increase Lyani's already extroverted personality. In her Turns at Far Island, lovers of all kinds came and went, and there was even a brief period of time where Lyani lived with two blueriders.

When all of that became too messy, Lyani decided to look for a fresh start. The powdery sands, beautiful waters, and warm breezes of Dolphin Cove were too much for Lyani to resist.

Description of Dragon:
Phyllameth is a vibrant shade of green, the color of a leaf when the golden morning sun is shining through it. She is on the large end of the wingspan scale for a green dragon, and she certainly revels in it. Phyllameth is every bit as sassy and out going as Lyani and she implants herself firmly in the middle of all Weyr gossip.
