Physical Description of Persona:
Raush is tall and slim with curly black hair and amber brown eyes. His default expression is a mischievous grin that gives the impression he has always just remembered something funny but perhaps a touch inappropriate for polite company. He is usually rather snazzily dressed, as though ready to impress at a moment's notice.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Raush loves wordplay and innuendo, and he takes any opportunity to employ them-- and if he absolutely cannot, he cannot escape his own giggles and grins. He is friendly and flirty with everyone and takes it personally when someone does not like him, as much as he tries to hide it. He is fiercely dedicated to his craft and despite his setbacks is committed to advancing as far as possible. He loves Zamyth, but he does not love being a dragonrider in all that it entails. While he is always cool-headed and calm in the Infirmary, he is a nervous mess in Threadfall situations.

History of Persona:
Raush was born at Singing Hill Hold, where he grew up raising camelids. He took an early interest in healing, and given that his parents took notice of his eccentricities from just as early an age, they eagerly shipped him off to the Healer Hall to avoid any unseemly rumors about his proclivities, where he apprenticed formally.

As a senior apprentice, he was assigned to Dream's End Weyr along with his mentor, Master Criegh, who insisted on bringing him and his close friend Warley along to continue training them due to their potential as Healers.

Shortly thereafter, they were both Searched, and they decided to Stand. Master Criegh was not pleased, to say the least, and their decision drove a sharp wedge between them and their mentor.

At their first Hatching, one egg was left unhatched, but boisterous dragonets on the Sands accidentally cracked it. The Hatchling within was malformed, but it nevertheless Impressed to Warley, and then it died. Warly himself died by suicide shortly thereafter.

A bit traumatized, Raush left the Candidacy and begged Master Criegh to take him back. He made Raush jump through numerous hoops and put him hard to the test to prove his commitment, but he did eventually take him back as his protégé.

Some few Turns later, Raush rushed onto the Sands to save a fool of a Candidate who tried to force an Impression and got himself sliced to ribbons for his trouble. While he was at it, green Zamyth chose him as her rider.

Once again, Master Criegh was furious, but Raush managed to convince him it was not intentional and that he still intended to give the Infirmary the bulk of his attention, as much as he possibly could. While he ran himself ragged to do it, he managed to walk the tables.

During his time in the wings, Raush met Bronzerider G'weld. Of course, he assumed that bronze meant he would never be interested in him as more than a friend, but mere assumptions never stopped Raush from flirting. And it certainly never stopped Tarsenuth from catching Zamyth. Soon, they were practically inseparable. At last, when G'weld moved to Barrier Lake, Raush asked to go with him.

Dragon's Name: Zamyth
Dragon's Age: 11
Dragon's Hatching Date: m9 d18
Dragon's Colour: Green
Next Mating Flight: m4 d6 of turn 13
Description of Dragon:
Zamyth is, in a word, intense. She is _all in_ for everything she likes-- it's brilliant, brilliant, BRILLIANT! And she is absolutely done with whatever she does not like. Why do they even have that garbage? She always gets there first, even when by all accounts, it doesn't make sense. She is a bright emerald green, though the hide around her eyes is a touch lighter, and when they are closed, it almost as though she is wearing round slices of fruit over them.
