Physical Description of Persona:
Small and slender, "Tynn" is brown haired and brown eyed, though his cheeks seem a hint too fine. His brown hair, while thick, is cut very short, clinging to his scalp. It shows a slight tendency to curl when he lets it grow too long. Plain and somewhat forgettable in appearance for the most part, "Tynn" hasn't hit a growth spurt yet.

Emotional Description of Persona:
You would never know how clever the little brat is without seeing his work because he stays quiet and keeps to himself. Few friends, though it isn't for lack of wanting them. He has a better reason than shyness to keep to himself. Fiercely determined to succeed, he sets his mind to his lessons with a passion surprising in such a young boy (until you know him). He is not easily distracted from lessons and the other boys think he is a bit of a teacher's pet and a pest more than anything else, both because of his quiet, almost aggressively studious nature and his small stature.

History of Persona:
Tynn was born a girl named Tynnsi to Tynndan and Siala, small cotholders beholden to Garnet Valley. SHE was a charming, precocious girl that her father adored and her mother loved to distraction. She was a surprise, the only daughter born to them, coming to life 15 turns after her next closest brother, and her aging parents, faced with a baby, and a girl at that, after 5 boys, simply did not try to tame her.

Three of her older brothers became Smiths; one has almost earned his Mastery. Her father was a journeyman Smith who was born to Beastcrafters before he gave it up to marry Siala, and become a cotholder. Siala captured his heart from the very beginning with her plain, strong face, and sweet, determined heart. In point of fact, Tynndan says it was Siala who decided _she_ would marry _him_, not the other way around.

Not knowing what else to do, Tynndan went back to his family and bought prize breeding runners, and now raises pedigree riding runners at his cothold, for Garnet Valley Hold and the Smith hall, and it was Tynnsi's world of which she was the center.

Tynnsi looks just like her mother, and her long brown hair is soft and curled, and her wide brown eyes take in everything around her with an eagerness and cutting intelligence matched by her Smith relatives. Her plain face is feminine but not delicate, though her cheekbones are fine enough for most girls.

None of her family could say they were honestly surprised when Tynnsi's 12th birthingday came, and she announced as plain as day that she was going to apprentice at the Smithhall like her Da and her brothers. Even her Da's sad explanation that she would not be allowed because she was female did not change her mind. In fact, it made her more determined.

"Then I'll just have to be a boy, won't I Da? I mean, I have 5 brothers. Why couldn't I be a boy?"

It was Siala who started laughing first, then her Da, then her brothers, and soon enough, the entire family was involved in the conspiracy. All that would happen, if she was caught, was that sharding grumpy Hallmaster would put her right back out of the Hall and she could come home. There might be some trouble from the main Crafthall, but Tynndan was convinced it would be worth it. Anything for his little girl.

So it was that Tynnsi became "Tynn", disguised and taught very well by her family. "He" apprenticed at 12 turns to the Smithhall at Garnet Valley, and was welcomed gladly by the oblivious Hallmaster.
