Physical Description of Persona:
Leisenn is a small, slim woman, deeply sun-tanned into a brown skin that is a little startling with the grey hair and pale blue-grey eyes. Her skin shows her age, due mostly to a life spent at sea or outdoors, but an active lifestyle that has never slowed has kept her remarkably healthy.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Leisenn is a supremely practical and pragmatic woman, even-tempered and sociable. She regards her craft as her calling and it has been like a family to her since the day she began her apprenticeship.

History of Persona:
Leisenn is the daughter of a SeaHold family. Both her parents died in the last of the great plagues and she has outlived a number of other family members.

Leisenn married a seacrafter in the last days of her apprenticeship when she became aware that she was pregnant. She and her husband produced two sons (Carver and Naen) who were fostered by her husband's sister to allow her to continue her studies. Both boys had large families that Leisenn didn't have the opportunity to get to know as she worked hard to keep her place in a post-Craft Ban Southern Continent and now she sometimes meets up with adult grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she has never known.

Leisenn was one of the journey-ranked dolphineers promoted a little early into vacancies caused by the deaths of master dolphineers in the early days of the last of the great plagues. It was a futile attempt to keep things going, but Leisenn has always been grateful that it happened because when the Craft Ban was enacted she found her master knots something of a protection from the pressures to retire and bear more children.

Her first specialisation was salvage with the hard, physical challenges she enjoyed meeting, but she later decided to develop the skills of a cartographer to widen the range of work available to her.

Leisenn was serving at the Dolphin Hall at Topaz SeaHold in 1190 when political manoeuvring resulted the withdrawal of all the dolphineers from the Hold and their replacement by Northern dolphineers. She considers it ironic (and typical of political machinations) that she is now being placed in charge of the Northern-aligned Dolphin Hall that formerly resided at Topaz SeaHold.

Description of Dolphin:
Tu is a young male dolphin, not properly grown yet but has been determined to be Leisenn's partner in the place of her former partner, his late grandmother. Leisenn and Tu always had a close relationship and when his grandmother died just after he was weaned he attached himself to the old master dolphineer. Leisenn knew her days of hard work were probably over and accepted the arrangement with pleasure.
