Physical Description of Persona:
Kouna is a very small woman, perfect for being pulled by dolphins, with bleached brown hair and expressive brown eyes. Her body is fit and because of this, her more womanly parts are rather undefined. She prefers the tight fitting outfits used for working with the dolphins as opposed to the finery offered her by her rank.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Kouna has always been a very laid back kind of woman. She is comfortable with almost anyone, anywhere. Accept in the morning. She is far from being a morning person. In the morning most people get out of her way until she has her first mug of klah.

History of Persona:
Kouna was born to a mastervinter and his wife. The oldest of four, she had always held a sense of authority. She grew up surrounded by vines and grapes, wines and ales. Her father specialized in sales and transactions and as soon as his daughter could walk took her with him. That's where she fell in love with the sea and dolphins. When she turned twelve she begged her parents to allow her to apprentice. One of her fathers close friends, and best customer, said he'd recommend her. Her mother was sympathetic and convinced her father to let her.

She excelled in everything she did at the Hall, trying to prove herself. While she was there she met a fellow apprentice, the future master Mosler. They had a few good Turns together until Mosler received his journeymanship only a Turn before her. They naturally grew apart. But Kouna remained a staunch friend, and was invited to both his weddings.

She continued to work for her mastery specializing in navigation from dolphinback and aboard ship. On the day of her mastery, her father came and she was overjoyed to receive a firelizard egg. It hatched into a glowing golden beauty. The little gold became a part of a three person team, Kouna, her partner Kib and the gold Via. They were inseparable, but not even that could stop fate.

It was during a large storm, when a ship called in the help sequence, Kouna and Kib answered the call. They were rescuing someone during a dive, when a piece of the mast broke off, lightning strike, and smashed into the surfacing Kouna and Kib. Kouna was in a coma for three days, Kib wasn't so lucky. The dolphinhealers did all they could, but her spine had been broken in the accident, Kouna was lucky she hadn't died as well. Her recovery was long and grueling but she finally was able to resume normal duties.

About two Turns after Kib's death, the pain was still strong. Kouna woke often from nightmares of that terrible night. When Mosler sent to her asking her to become his Hallsecond, she accepted, hoping the change of scenery would dull the pain and help her start again.

A petite gold, her wings look almost too big for her small body, but she is as graceful as a green. However she is never far from her owner, and dotes over her clutches like a dragon.
