U'kaiah looked down the line of his players, first right and then left. He glanced quickly over his shoulder at the goalie for the Dragonsfall team, P'kar, and noticed he was ready. The bronzerider then looked out over at the Dolphin Cove team. Their line was formed, their goalie in place. "Ready?" he called over. The Dolphin Cove Weyrleader nodded. Finally U'kaiah looked over to shore where a timekeeper sat with the other spectators that gathered on the beach. The bluerider raised his hand, a glass timer in front of him. U'kaiah watched as he lowered his hand and turned it over. The sand began to slip down from one chamber to the next, marking the start of the game. "_GO!_" the team captain called out as he launched the ball high in the air towards the Dolphin Cove team. The game had begun!

E'naer waited with his teammates. He felt the familiar excitement building up. He had missed this!

D'cal reached up and grabbed the ball. Putting it in front of him, he swam forward, letting his body push the ball forward with each stroke. One of the Dragonsfall defenders soon blocked his way and he looked around for someone to get the ball off to. He saw one of his teammates make a break for it. Placing one hand on the defender's shoulder, he used the man's body to launch himself out of the water and throw the ball towards his teammate.

Sh'dori caught the ball and squeezing it against his chest, dove underwater, swimming towards the Dragons fall's goal. Someone grapped him and he kicked.

Knara grabbed at the brownrider as he went past her and just barely got out of the way. She grumbled a moment about not getting the ball away before taking off after Sh'dori. She knew how to play this game and was determined to do her share of defending and scoring.

Sh'dori's lungs run out of air and he resurfaced. Using all of his strenght, he aimed and launched the ball towards the goal.

E'naer moved to intercept, but was little bit too slow. The greenrider watched with annoyance when the ball whipped past him just out of his arms reach.

P'kar reached out just in time to block the shot, the ball bouncing off his hands and high in the air. "Shards," he muttered as he watched the ball land in a pile of players. Anyone could get it. They were not safe yet...

Br'nick found himself close to the ball when it was knocked away from the goal, but he wasn't close enough to be the one to collect the ball. He saw one of his teamates dive for the ball just seconds after the Dragonsfall Weyrleader started towards it. He hoped that they were faster than D'wrayt.

D'wrayt watched anxiously as P'kar started to block the ball and then tracked the ball as it came sailing to the right of him. He dove for the ball, but came up empty handed. Someone else had the same idea and got to it first, but he couldn't see who it was.

Z'al got lucky. It landed right in his hands. He took only a moment to glance around and then he dove under the arms of another player and made a breack for the goal. He felt hands try to grab at him and dodged them. He used his weight to sink the ball and swam under the water till he was right on the goal. He came up right in front and whipped the water from his eyes. He took a moment to smile at P'kar before trying to push the ball into the goal.

An oath, and a woman with short, spiky fuschia hair launched herself at the brownrider. Her shoulder caught him square in the chest and they both went underwater, but Harki had lost sight of the ball. She planted a foot on Z'al's sternum and used him as leverege to pop back to the surface, frantically scanning the area for it and hoping that Dolphin Cove hadn't scored.

K'ran had caught the ball, fortunately. He spun and looked around, noting a Dolphin Cove player heading for him. He took a chance and called out to his fellow Dragonsfall riders before launching it towards the nearest open one.

Knara heard K'ran's shout and glanced about. She was open for the moment anyway and caught the ball easily. She manuevered through the different players as she tried her best to get as close to the goal as possible.

The game was moving fast around the tall, lanky Weyrleader. As a greenrider from Dragonsfall caught the ball, J'darin went diving toward her, trying to knock her under and the ball loose.

Eleada had the same idea, and dove toward's the woman as she came within reach. Someone plowed into her, knocking her under. She flailed, trying to get toward the surface, and felt her foot connect with the ball.

Knara tried her best to keep ahold of the ball, but it slipped out of her hands as a Dolphin Cove greenrider managed to kick it out of her hands. She swam to try to regain possession of the ball, but a bluerider had gotten it already.

N'solyn had been watching Eleada and was able to retrieve the ball For Dolphin Cove. He swam aways and just narrowly missed a Dragonsfall rider, so he looked to see who was open and then tossed it their way willing the ball to make it that far without being intercepted.

Cherlyn had been standing off to the side, completly overwhelmed with the game. No one had passed it to her, not that she expected them to. In her watching she had made her way over to the Dragonsfall goal.
Suddenly she found a ball flying towards her face, passed by a Dragonsfall member who thought she was on his team.

Her arms threw up in reflex and she caught the ball.
She stood there a moment, Dragonsfall player closing in.

"Shoot!" "Shoot!" yelled the spectators. Without thinking she took the ball and chucked it to the Dragonsfall goal. _Please make it_ she thought _please._

P'kar had missed who had caught the ball. By the time he had realized it was the greenrider who had it, the ball was already on its way, flying right past his head. **Shards!** he thought as the ball hit the back of the goal.

U'kaiah slapped the water in frustration. Oh well, it was only one.
"Ok everyone, line up for the toss," he called to his team. He waited as the teams lined up, the ball on the Dolphin Cove side. With a nodd to let the other team know they were ready, he watched as the ball was thrown back over the center line to his team.

J'darin cheered when they scored a goal. "Well done!" he yelled, immediately lining up with his team as the ball was tossed back into the center. It was caught by a Dragonsfall player and the Weyrleader turned Team Captain started his second diving block of the day, hoping to score two goals in quick succession.

Aletta cheered as her wingmate scored the first goal of the game. She dove under and swam toward the player with the ball, if she could knock him off balance then someone else, on her team of course, could get the ball from him.

K'ran realized that he was about to be a target, so he spun, still holding the ball, and threw it towards an open Dragonsfall player.
**Please catch it, please catch it...** he hoped.

N'vanik caught the ball and tucked it securly under his arm before diving under the water. He'd spent most of the game so far yanking Dolphin Cove players under the water and 'accidentally' hitting them, so he was sure they'd be more than happy to take the ball forcefully away from him. Surfacing closer to the goal, he took a quick breath and went under again. He wanted to get as close as possible.

Eleada spotted the man who'd plowed into her when he came up for air, holding the ball close to him. Immediately she dove, and managed to catch up to him, coming up directly underneath him and forcing him back into the air. She popped into the air beside him and grinned at him, hoping someone else from Dolphin Cove would get the ball.

Sh'dori saw the ball coming his direction. He dove and with few mighty strokes swam after it. He snatched the ball and pulled it bellow, swimming as fast as he could towards the dragonsfall's goal.
E'naer moved to intercept him. But the greenrider just wasn't strong enough to wrestle with the large brownrider. He got an elbow to his belly and had to move aside to regain his breathing. Sh'dori shook off few more attackers and sent the ball flying to the goal.

U'kaiah followed the brownrider's eyes and was anticipating the throw. He reached a long arm out to snag the ball just before it reached P'kar in the goal. With all his strength he pulled his arm back and launched the ball back towards the other team's side. He didn't care who was waiting there to receive it, just as long as he could clear his end. The ball had been on their teams side way too much for his comfort!

Tavia launched herself off the sholders of another player and knocked the ball to the water. Resurefacing she looking for her target but it was gone.

Harki had it. She was off, swimming like a shipfish toward the Dolphin Cove goal. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a pair of men closing in on her, and she suddenly whipped the ball toward the goalie just as one of them grabbed her by her ankle and yanked her under the water. She gave him a ferocious kick before resurfacing to see whether her shot had gone in.

C'len was caught offguard by the sudden shot and missed it by a fingertip. "SCORE!" was the shout. The young brownrider looked crestfallen as he tossed the ball back in for the toss.

J'darin made an 'alright' signal at him, and called his team closer.
"We're tied now team! Lets get the ball and get ahead! Come on!"

A slightly surprised D'ren caught the ball and moved just in time to avoid a Dragonsfall player. He swam a few yards toward the goal and saw Another member of the opposition coming at him. Looking around, he found a teammate that was open and tossed the ball.

K'lvin reached up to try a grab the ball before the Dolphin Cove player could reach it but ti bounced off his fingertips and landed in the hands of the other team anyway.

J'darin caught the deflected ball and dived hurriedly toward the opposing goal, dodging Dragonsfall players left and right. He felt someone coming up behind him just as he took the shot, and tried to turn out of the way, not sure if the ball went in or to another player.

D'cal cheered as the passed just beyond the reach of the Dragonsfall goalie, despite the fact it was J'darin who had taken the shot. He swam back in line with the other Dolphin Cove players to wait for J'darin to throw the ball back to the Dragonsfall team. Two to one so far. Now if they could just hold them...

E'naer just cursed when the Dolphin Cove scored again and moved after The ball.

D'wrayt watched as his teammates moved towards the ball and he sought a position that would hopefully allow him a chance to get the ball closer to the opposite goal. He saw Knara gain possession of the ball and grinned. His daughter was truly an individual and was more like him than either of them cared to admit.

As soon as she had the ball, it was unceremoniously bumped out of her Hands by a rather good looking bronzerider. She stood in the water shocked for a moment before diving after the ball stealing rider. She was determined to reclaim the ball from him.

Br'nick tried his best to dodge the Dragonsfall players as he headed Towards the goal after spiriting away the ball from a rather nice looking Greenrider who reminded him of his deceased weyrmate in her determined stride as she tried to take the ball back from him. He got close enough to try to shoot, but found himself suddenly under the water about the same time a teammate shouted a warning to him.

"Got it!" Knara called as she pushed off the bronzerider and began swimming towards the goal. She got blocked by a bluerider and franticly tossed the ball to the closest teammate. She had at least gotten the ball away from the bronzerider if unable to score a goal personally.

Harki caught the ball easily, then swung around. She was trapped -
but K'ran open. "K'ran!" she shouted, then whipped the ball at the bronzerider.

K'ran caught it. Diving nimbly away from a Dolphin Cove player, he swam towards the goal. He felt someone bump into him, and chanced a throw into the goal. The goalie didn't seem close enough to make it in time, and K'ran held his breath- yes! Was that a goal?

C'len blocked the shot in a last minute, stunning display of aerobatics that had the Dolphin Cove team cheering loudly as the referee called "TIME!"

"Dolphin Cove wins 2 goals to 1!!"
