Physical Description of Persona:
Standing at 5'4" Vessika is neither the tallest person around nor extraordinarily short. Her build tends toward slender with a low amount of fat and muscle alike. Although her weight does fluctuate it tends toward the lower side of the scale. Due to a lifetime spent in the warm climate of River Bluffs Weyr her skin has a medium olive tone to it. Her eyes are narrow and light brown in color while her hair is a dark shade of brown that nears black. It is generally left without any styling beyond running a comb through it and goes just past her shoulders.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Vessika is someone who has many opinions of the world around her and quite enjoys letting others know of her opinions. When she does this it is often in a notably sarcastic fashion. However, she quite loathes getting in trouble and so attempts to be reasonably polite to those who rank above her while attempting to ensure that she doesn't end up in a situation she doesn't like. Indeed she likes it when she is in full control of a situation and will do her best to maintain that status.

When it comes to interacting with others Vessika has two extremes along with the sliding scale of gray that falls between these areas. The individuals she likes she is often willing to follow through thick and thin. Meanwhile she has very little patience for those who get on her nerves and tends to use her temper around them. Unless she knows she has a firm reason not to do so she will often be quite condescending to those she deems not worth her time along with her usual sprinkling of sarcasm.

History of Persona:
Born to a pair of riders Vessika grew up in River Bluffs Weyrhold. That being said she hardly remembers the time before it became a Weyr for she was only five when Tsaera became Weyrwoman. Beyond finding the whole thing very confusing the young girl didn't take much note of the change at the time.

She was ten turns old when thread returned. The knowledge that the dragonriders were being made to fight Pern's ancient enemy once more horrified her. For two turns she was determined not to stand out of the fear that she would impress a green and end up fighting herself one day. It was her discovery of a lost egg and subsequent impression to a blue firelizard that made her begin rethinking things. For all that she didn't get always get along with the other children she couldn't help but adore the little blue. She ended up naming him Minwi for the virtue of it being the first name she thought of at the time.

As the turns passed Vessika continued to blossom into the young woman she is today. Upon reaching fifteen turns old she began to stand out of the hopes of impressing a creature with whom she could share an even stronger bond than that which she had with her firelizard. Two turns of standing ultimately held no results.

Only a handful of months after she turned seventeen Rhosyn's Orlaith laid a clutch including a golden eegg. Vessika was quick to respond by jumping to the conclusion that it would be a whole lot of fuss for a whole lot of nothing.

Minwi, Blue Firelizard: aged 9, hatched m7 d11
Minwi is a solid shade of powder blue all over and small for his color. He is simple, easily excited, and has a habit of hording shiny objects.
