Welcome to Healer Hall at Amber Hills Hold (say AHH-HH!)

This is the first of its kind facility, dedicated to the preservation of knowledge and the teaching of said knowledge to the next generation of healers. Bolstered by the information gained from AIVAS, the faculty of this Hall has a mission to make sure that Pern's healers are using the best techniques and remedies going forward. Aside from the traditional healer route, they have also opened up a second specialization: nursing. Healers in this track focus more on executing treatment plans and less on diagnostics.

But not everyone involved in this project agrees with the new course being set.

Aside from this Hall incorporating new techniques from AIVAS, it is also officially accepting women into its ranks. There have been more than a few grumbles from the Masons and Woodsmiths constructing the facility -- and a few of them may have left behind some inconveniences as a way of protest. So if you're into the occasional leak or a light turning right as you needed it, as well as helping patients with the newest information, this Hall is the place for you.
