B'ram

B'ram

Eleada skipped through the halls, a broad grin crossing her face as she thought ahead to after drills. After she and B'ram had such a good time at the remote beach he'd taken her to, she offered to pick the next location.

**Gliorith? Can you bespeak Girifith and ask if his rider is ready to go?**

}:Mine will meet yours after the drills. And he wants to know if he will have time for a quick bath before we go,:{ the brown replied in answer to the question passed on by the green.

}:Mine says there is time for a bath.:{ Eleada heard Gliorith's reply echo in her brain as she ran through the winding hallways and endless stairs to reach her weyr again. She had already arranged for the picnic to be ready when she finished. Now she just needed to get through drills. Faranth, but she was looking forward to this!

B'ram couldn't hurry into the bath fast enough after drills had finished. He scrubbed every inch of skin, washing away every trace of dirt. The brownrider pulled on his green tunic, the one that fit snuggly across his chest and brought out the color of his eyes. He stood in front of the mirror with a comb trying to tame his wild red hair. It wasn't going well.

}:They are here,:{ Girifith announced.

**Shards.** He would just have to come out as is. B'ram put on his most charming grin as he strode out to meet her. "Sorry if I kept you waiting."

Eleada grinned at him, admiring the fit of his tunic and the charming mess his hair was in. "No problem at all." She assured him. "Are you ready?"

"Ready when you are. Are you going to tell me where we're going?" He was incredibly curious where she would take him this time.

She gave a one shouldered shrug. "Just a little place my mother's weyrmate used to take me for picnics. I've never seen anyone else there though, so we don't have to worry about being seen."

"So you can ravage me and leave me heartbroken unseen?" he asked teasingly.

She grinned again. "If you could be ravaged and heartbroken so easily, you never would have survived our last bath."

"Ah, but then help was just a scream away," he reminded her.

"Really." She drawled, her eyes sparking wickedly. "Maybe I should try that next time? They wouldn't want an innocent young greenrider to be ravaged in the bath now, would they?"

"There certainly would be a fair amount of screaming," he leaned closer to murmur with a wicked grin, "though I doubt you would appreciate anyone coming in to rescue you."

Unbidden, an old memory flashed across her mind of that very situation, and even as she felt the heat and longing rise at the memory she had to suppress a shudder at the consequences of such an encounter. She hid her feelings by leaning even closer to whisper teasingly in his ear. "And what makes you think I wouldn't appreciate a handsome young rider coming to the rescue?"

B'ram slipped an arm around her waist. "What if _I_ offered to 'rescue' you? Could you appreciate that?" "Depends on if you were the one ravaging me." She breathed, conscious of his arm around her, the scent of soap still strong on his person. So, just because she could, she gave him a friendly peck on the cheek, and looked innocently at him. "Of course, you would _never_ do something like that to me..."

"Awww," he said with a slight pout of his lips, "does that mean you don't _want_ me to ravage you?"

"We...ell, I wouldn't say _ravage_..." She admitted dryly. "But I do have a rather nice picnic above a waterfall in mind..."

"Well, that's a good start." A nice romantic picnic. Wet bodies frolicking in a pool above a waterfall. Sounded perfect to the brownrider. "So what can I carry?"

"How about the picnic blanket? I've already got the picnic."

"Hmmmm," B'ram hummed as he took the basket from her. "Can I peek?" he asked as he lifted the lid curiously.

She laughed. "You already are." She pointed out as he lifted the lid. "I can't keep any surprises from you, can I?" She took the basket back, slipping out of his encircling arm to walk to the ledge where Gliorith was waiting.

"Ooooo, so there's a surprise in there?" he asked innocently as he helped her tie it securely to her dragon.

"Yes." She affirmed with a grin. "Everything in there is a surprise. I let my mother pack it. Otherwise, she'd have come with us."

"You don't want me to meet your mother?" he asked with wide, innocent eyes.

Eleada snorted. "You can meet her whenever you like. But she's a fostermother and comes attached. Two's company. Six or more's a crowd."
She smiled coyly over her shoulder at him. "I didn't think we'd want to be supervised."

The brownrider grinned as he pinned her between him and her green's side. "Definitely not," he purred, leaning in close.

She felt a little thrill of pleasure at the touch of his body, pinning her against Gliorith. He thought he had her again. "I'm glad you agree."
She murmured over her shoulder, then hauled herself up on the riding straps and out of his reach before he could react. She grinned impishly at him again. "Ready?"

B'ram looked up at her with an appreciative smile. **For you? Always...**
