Taiva settled on a bench to listen to the harper for a while. She had a skin of decent wine and a mug, all that was missing was someone to talk to. She spoted B'ram entering and waved him over.
"Well, greenrider, how are you?" B'ram asked as he flopped down on the bench next to her.
"Well enough, wine?" she offered the brownrider the wine skin.
"Actually," he grinned as he pulled a large flask from his pocket, "I brought my own drink thanks."
"Anything good?" she asked. "Enough to get my mind off a bluerider?"
"Trust me, I have all you need to get your mind off a bluerider," he chuckled, handing the flask over to her. "You were burned by a bluerider?"
"Not burned, at least not yet. I think he's fallen for me but he's only ninteen turns. How could he know what he wants?" She grined back. "As for the offer? I may take you up on it."
"Drink enough of that and you'll be clay in my hands," he chuckled. "Not that you wouldn't be anyway," he amended with a cocky grin. "Shards, nineteen, huh? I sure didn't know what I wanted at nineteen. I thought I knew at twenty-four. Turns out that just cause you know what you want, doesn't mean you get it."
"True enough, I did get Sawuath though. What do I about him though? Just wait or what?" She accepted a glass and took a drink.
"I don't know," B'ram shrugged. "Depends on what you're waiting _for_ I suppose."
"For him to figure out what he wants. To make matters worse Sawuath is hanging around eaither his blue or Ny'n's brown."
"And does her choice of company have to influence yours?" he asked with raised eyebrow.
"I don't want him to get the wrong idea. I'm not sure he understands that what she does, doesn't mean anything from my end, other than a flight of course."
"Are you sure it doesn't?" he asked mischievously.
"I don't try to infulance her flights if thats what your asking. Not my fault she has a thing for browns."
"Ah, well, what do you know," B'ram laughed, "I have a great big beautiful brown. I've been told he's quite handsome. Mostly by him."
Tavia cocked her head for a moment. "sawuath agrees." she told him with a grin.
"And what does Sawuath's rider think?" he asked with a sly smile.
"That you would be good company for an evening."
"I think you are very perceptive," he grinned, taking the flask back and taking a small sip.
"Shall we find someplace more quite then?"
He took her hand and stood up. "I thought you'd never ask."
"Should I have asked?" she teased grabing the rest of the wine. "My weyr or yours?"
"Yours." It was probably closer, and the faster they could get there, the more time they had... for drinking of course.
