Description: Sofeya reports for duty.
Location: Amber Hills Hold
Date: month 5, day 16 of Turn 7
Notes: Mentioned: Zelanka
She arrived first thing in the morning, just as she was instructed to
do.
Sofeya honestly wasn't sure if the new assignment would be any
lighter than
her last, but could it be any worse? At least the healer
was pleasant to
look at if nothing else. Just inside the infirmary, she
paused and glanced
around. There were no patients that she could see,
nor any of the healers.
Didn't they keep all hours in there? Or maybe
they were all further
back?
"Hello?" she called out, uncertain.
He walked out of the
entrance to his quarters. Chupsin was in trousers
and a loose tunic. "Come
this way." He gestured toward the opening and
stood back.
Sofeya did
as she was bade and glanced back at the healer. Really, he'd
look better if
he wore a more form fitting shirt, but she refrained from
commenting - just
yet.
"So, my quarters are off the infirmary. Nothing fancy or
anything. There's a
small kitchen, a bedchamber, a privy, and a sitting
room. So it isn't much
to keep clean. Unfortunately, with my duties and
the odd hours-sometimes it's
hard for me to do so." That was why he
depended on Zelanka to keep him fed.
"All right." They would definitely
be easier to clean than some of the
rooms she'd been assigned to recently.
Sofeya nodded slowly and glanced
around. "I can take care of
it."
"There are supplies in that closet over there. If you need anything
else I'm
sure you know where to get them." He didn't think he needed to
say it, but he
would rather she not touch his personal things. They were
all put up out of sight
for the most part.
Sofeya nodded slowly as
her eyes soaked in her surroundings. It was
definitely going to be an easier
job than some others she'd been
assigned to recently. Of course, she'd still
have other duties, but
this would be a piece of cake. "Anything else you
need?" She queried,
her eyes sliding back to him and accompanied with a
smile.
"From time to time, it would be helpful if you could perhaps keep
the
kitchen stocked." With his hours, sometimes it was hard to go and get
the
supplies he needed. Then, he'd try to eat and realize that there
was
nothing to eat.
"I can do that. I'll check it at the end of
everyday. At the very
least, you should always have bread and cheese on
hand." And fruit,
too, Those were three things that didn't easily spoil and
generally
were palatable to most. "Is there anything else you require of
me?"
Sofeya flipped a lock of hair behind a slender shoulder and settled
a
pointed gaze on the healer.
It was too soon. Still, though, Chupsin
was a man albeit a very secretive one.
But the thought was there. And it
wasn't as if this one was prime marriage
material for anyone. She wasn't bad
to look at. Hm. "Not at the moment.
Thank you
Sofeya."
