Orlaith was waiting in the Bowl with her straps on. The
golden queen was well oiled and gleamed. Always happy at the prospect of a
hatching, she tried to hurry the riders up. }:Zackariath, we are going to be
late. Tell yours to come:{

Her head swiveled in the direction of her weyr as her rider hurried down the
steps. **Okay, okay, I'm ready.** Orlaith had reported that the humming had
started. Rhosyn had jumped into her hatching dress and tried to do something
with her hair. Now, she headed down into the Bowl, checking Orlaith as she
waited for the Wingleader.

}: He's coming, :{
Zack reassured the Queen. He was all ready, straps on and bronze hide gleaming
in the sun. His rider was pulling on his riding gloves, his long legs carrying
him quickly to the waiting dragons.

Making quick work of the mounting process, even with her dress on, Rhosyn got
up where she needed to be and strapped herself in. When all was secure, she gave
the signal. Orlaith rose, heading for the Star Stones as she bade farewell to
the watchdragon. When they came out of /between/, she bugled to the other dragons
arriving, making sure they made way for her. She maneuvered carefully. }:Zackariath,
I am going down here so they will be close to the entrance:{ And if anyone got in
her way, it would not be pretty.

}: I'll follow you,:{ Zack replied, sending a discreet call to the locals: }:Queen
coming in! :{ He set down closer to the center of the Weyrbowl. It was almost amusing
to watch the smaller dragons scurry out of her path.

A far cry from some of the queens of Dolphin Cove, Orlaith was every bit as huge as
she could be and she knew it. She didn't mind throwing her weight around as she procured
a prime landing spot. Rhosyn got down, accepting assistance from a nearby rider who
knew exactly who _that_ dragon belonged to. When she was down and out of the way,
Orlaith headed to where she could join in the humming. Looking around for U'das, she
waited to go into the Grounds as people headed in.

After getting rid of his flight gear, U'das joined Rhosyn and offered her his arm. "Well,
here we are. Another hatching, another party," he smiled with expectations. He just loved watching
Impression and party was always a party.

"So excited for Cyradis." Of course she was happy for the woman and she looked around
as the old bronzerider led her inside. There were plenty of people of course and she
found herself wondering where N'vanik was. She'd like to sit by R'enh or someone.

He spotted some familiar faces and waved them a greeting, before finding a seat for
them. "I think I saw G'nir," he murmured.

"Hmm..." She sat down easily, looking the crowd over before she focused on the Sands.

"Wanna bet which color hatches first?" U'das asked.

"I know they'll be hoping for a bronze naturally." She knew it really didn't matter,
but things happened as they did anyway. "I'll go with a brown first."

"It's Cyradis' first clutch as a Weyrwoman so I put my marks on bronze," U'das replied.

"Fair enough." She remembered the last clutch here had yielded a bronze first if she wasn't
mistaken. Of course that had been Mnoranth's get so it made sense. Now was Loseth's turn.
Smiling to herself, Rhosyn sat back and listened to the humming until the eggs started rocking.
She leaned slightly into U'das as they watched the hatching begin.
