Sh'dori inspected critically the piece of wood he was carving. It was going to be a dolphin, if he could get the shape right. "Buggers, I need a live model," he muttered, putting the carving away.
"Sorry, I only model for beautiful ladies," a fellow brownrider said with a chuckle as hesat down next to him.
"You would need dorsal fin first to model me anyway," Sh'dori said with a chuckle.
"Well, everyone to their own tastes," B'ram smiled.
"Yeah," the older brownrider grinned.
B'ram sank back into the sand. "You know, I've been here about a month now, but I still can't believe how beauituful the sea is here."
"I love it. I came here after earthquake had destroyed the previous weyrhold and fell in love with this place. The warm climate, the sea and the friendly ladies," Sh'dori winked.
"Ah, yes, the friendly ladies," B'ram grinned, "who can wear next to nothing, or less, even in the dead of winter."
"Oh, yes," Sh'dori sighed with a dreamy voice. "Like those," he pointed a pair of attractive greenrider that passed them. The other one actually blew him a kiss and he waived her.
"Shards," B'ram breathed, "can you carve one of _them_?"
"I have carved. The other one, the one sending kisses anyway," Sh'dori replied almost absently.
"In what she's wearing now?" his fellow brownrider asked, equally distracted.
"Nooou, she wasn't wearing anything," Sh'dori grinned.
"Shell cracks and crack dust," B'ram groaned, "please tell me it's for sale."
"Sorry, buddy," Sh'dori patted the younger brownriders shoulder with comforting manner. "But if you ask her nicely, she might show it to you."
"She's the friendly type?" B'ram asked hopefully. He certainly wouldn't mind making new friends in the Weyr...
"Very. Of course, most of them are friendly if you know how handle them."
"Trust me, I'm very good at 'handling' women," B'ram replied with a knowing nudge.
"You know, her friend is worth getting to know too. Not as pretty and quite shy but veeryyy inventive in bed," the older brownrider winked. "I didn't know you can use redfruit _that_ way."
"Redfruit?" Shards, B'ram needed to meet more ladies in this Weyr! "I bet its fresh too, huh." Fresh fruit and half clothed, or un-clothed ladies lounging on the beach at all times of the turn? Dolphins Cove was certainly the place to be!
"Yes, no wonder I've stayed here," Sh'dori chuckled.
B'ram sighed as he leaned back in the sand. Nice, uncomplicated, naughty fun. That's what he needed to forget that scortching incident with the Weyrwoman. "Shards, I could use a bit of redfruit in my life."
"We all could, from time to time."
The other brownrider turned his green eyes towards Sh'dori, a gleam of challenge in his eye. "Wanna try to pick some?"
"Always," Sh'dori answered the challenge.
B'ram lifted himself from the sand. "Well, come on then. Before they decide to get dressed!"
Sh'dori got up too. "After you, my friend."
