Sense was a long time returning to the young greenrider. What _had_
happened? Warmth all along her side made her stop and think, and suddenly memories flashed back over the last few candlemarks.
**Lillyth?**
Her concerned thought was a whisper, but her dragon was her first thought, as always. Only sleepy contentment answered her sending, and the contentment was of the sort that made Dysali's cheeks flare bright red. She had found much happiness, first with I'lan, and then perfection with her beloved D'ren.. but this was certainly different. Who was next to her? Blue-green eyes opened a bit wider and she traced a hand uncertainly along a very nice thigh. "B'ram?" her voice was soft, shy. How did one act now? Did you flee as fast as you could? Did you stay?
"Mmmhmm" the brownrider hummed serenely. He had been awake for sometime and had just been relaxing in the after glow of a sharding fun flight. His lips curled into a grin as he looked down at her. "How do you feel?"
Dysali was quiet for a moment, looking at him. He was not who she wanted to wake up with after a flight like that, but he had been good to her. Not gentle, but not rough either. She was not _that_ experienced after all. "I've never felt like this before, B'ram. I'm not sure I know the name for it. But it seems good." She smiled her lopsided smile at him. "Thank you.. you were very wonderful to me. It was very wonderful, indeed, to be caught up like that, and feel everything they felt. Lillyth is very happy just now." She chuckled at that, still uncertain what she should do now. "It doesn't have to be over, you know." He sat up enough to gently run his fingers along her shoulder. "The feelings don't go away when the flight is over. They are not as powerful, but they are there. And you enjoy them while you are in total control of yourself."
Residues of what she knew to be Flight induced lust made her shiver with his touch, and also normal reactions between a woman and a man. Even if this woman was only 15 turns. She stared at him for a long while, nervousness making her shiver where warmth had only seconds before.. "Is that.. normal...? Do you stay after such a Flight?" Confusion was warring with her body's message. And her heart was breaking as she began to realize what D'ren would feel like if he knew.. if he thought she'd stayed for more than just the Flight. "In my experience it is," B'ram nodded, his fingers still grazing her skin gently. "But that is not _always_ the case. It depends on what _you_ want to do Dysali."
Tears stung her eyes a moment, misting her vision of him. Her body was warming under his fingers, but her heart was crying out. "Oh.. B'ram..
I just don't know. You're very wonderful... but my heart belongs to another. I don't know if he would like it.." Tears fell then as she realized what had happened, and she moved closer to him, but for comfort. "Oh.. B'ram! He was supposed to win Lillyth's first Flight and now.. and now.. I just don't know what to do."
If she felt ashamed of breaking down in front of a rider she barely knew, and a man that she'd just been very happily making love to, it didn't show. And truth be told, she was _so_ honest, that she never dreamed of hiding anything from him, even though they'd just met. It wasn't exactly the willing falling into his arms that B'ram had been hoping for, but he could certainly understand that this was her first flight and the confusion that it could cause. After all, his first flight he had won had been a _male_ greenrider. That was pretty sharding confusing too, although, he hadn't reacted quite this way. "Dysali, enjoying a flight doesn't mean you belong to your lover any less," he said soothingly, trying to ignore the delight his body wanted to give into holding her naked flesh to his. "There is never any guarantee who will win your flight. In the end it is the dragon's choice, not ours."
Her smile flashed briefly, showing some of the maturity she was slowly learning. "I did enjoy it, B'ram. You were wonderful.. But now.. its my choice, not my dragon's. During a Flight, you can't help it, and so much the better if you find someone on the other side that you can really enjoy.. but after?" Her eyes pleaded with him to understand..but she didn't really understand. Where were the lines, in a Weyr? When you were in love?
"I should leave." Tears stirred up again. She had to talk to him..
find out what they could both live with... She wasn't sure _she_ could live with D'ren making the choice to stay, after the Flight had vanished. Although it certainly had not vanished! Her body was still not finished with the dragonlust, she could tell. And if _she_ was feeling it... "If that's what you want, Dysali," he said, fighting the urge to pull her closer and show her just how nice after the flight could feel. He kept reminding himself that this was her first flight and she was scared and he could always find someone willing outside... but his body kept reminding himself that she was so sharding soft and warm... B'ram was certainly feeling it, and if she just lay next to him much longer he was going to stop acting like a gentleman. "Perhaps you should go... now."
Startled and even more unnerved by his reaction, she leaped up from the floor and began to dress quickly, barely noting she was sore in a few places. Tears streamed down her face. Was she such a beast? Unable to even say anything to him after that, she fled the flight room, her cheeks heated with tears and embarrassment.
