Location: Dragonsfall Weyr

"Whoa!" U'kaiah groaned as he lifted the little boy up over his shoulder
and walked into the main part of the Weyr. "Aileyan, look what I found!
Ravyan escaped onto the ledge."

"The little rascal. One of these days he's going to fall off, " Aileyan
said with worried tone while she was trying to tie the lace on her back.
Why did the weavers always had put it there, wouldn't the front do?

}: He won't, I don't let him, :{ Kjarliheth assured her.

"I think he was waiting for me," U'kaiah said guiltily, pulling the boy
down off his shoulder and give the top of his head a loud kiss. "Go
find Dagon," he instructed the little boy before turning to her. "Come
here, I can do that."

Aileyan just nodded. "Don't rumble your clothes, Ravyan!" she called
after the boy. She lifted hair out of the way and turned her back on
her. "Why do they put the laces in such places?"

"Why, so men can dream of untying them, of course," he said as he
brushed a few hairs that has escaped her attention back over her
shoulder.

"Hah! So it's just for men's pleasure. Never mind how inconvinent it is
for us," Aileyan snorted.

"It's for women's pleasure, too," he protested. "If the laces weren't
in the back, could I do this?" U'kaiah's arms slipped around her waist
and he pulled her against him as he leaned down to gently nuzzle her
neck. "See, isn't that nice?"

"Yes, it is," she admitted with breathless voice. She glimsed somethig.
"Shards. Ravyan! Leave Timor alone!"

"Dagon eats Timol" the boy declared cheerfully. He had been chasing the
flit with his stuffed dragon.

"No, Dagon not eat Timor. Dagon eat moo-moo," Aileyan didn't know if she
should laugh or roll her eyes. "He knows something exciting is going to
happen, he's been so restless whole day."

U'kaiah laughed as he let Aileyan go. "Tell your mama Dagon doesn't eat
bovine." Chasing after the little boy he grabbed him and lifted him
high over his head. "He eat's wherries!"

The boy turned thoughtful. "What whelly says?" he wanted to know.

Grinning, Aileyan did the finishing touches for her outfit.

"They say... EAT ME!" he brought the little boy's tummy down and
pretended to gnaw on it.

He giggled and Aileyan got a chace to finish herself. She picked their
flight jackets. The sight of them make her smile happily. "Come now,
leave U'kaiah alone. We have to go to fetch aunt Eilowyn and your
cousins."

"And I have to go look like a handsome bronzerider," U'kaiah said
setting the boy on his hip. "Do you think I look handsome, little man?
Do you think I'll do your mama proud?"

"Yes," Ravyan pretty much agreed to everything he said. He glanced his
mother. "Mom pletty."

"She sure is," U'kaiah agreed, his sincerity glowing in his eyes and
smile. "Your mother is a very beautiful woman, especially tonight."

"Thank you boys, " she actually blushed. "Now, jacket on and mittens and
cap!"

"I think she's talking to you, buddy." The bronzerider looked around
for said clothing. "Do you need me to get him ready?"

"If you could, since you have his attention," Aileyan asked and gave him
Ravyan's clothes.

"All right, little man..." U'kaiah set Ravyan back down on his feet.
"Arms straight out," he said, demonstrating the posture he was looking
for.

Aileyan just had to laugh when she watched the two of them.

The bronzerider looked up at her with an amused look. "What, am I doing
something wrong?" he asked as he pulled the jacket up one arm and helped
the boy find the other sleeve.

"No, you two are just so cute," she replied.

U'kaiah just gave her a broad grin as he turned the little boy around so
he could pull on the mittens a little easier. Stuffing the cap on his
head, he picked him up and held him out to his mother. "Here
you are. One boy ready for his trip." He leaned down to give her cheek
a soft kiss. "Fly safe."

"Mom's not leady," Ravyan noted when Aileyan picked up. She had been
watching them and put her own flight jacket on.
"Mom will get ready in a second. Go wait with Kjarrie."
The boy ran to the dragon while Aileyan quickly got herself ready.

After watching the little one toddle off, U'kaiah helped her with her
jacket and held a glove out for her. "So I'll pick up the bride's
family and I'll meet you at Dolphin Cove."

"Yes, and M'non and I will pick up my sister's family," Aileyan nodded.
** Kjarrie-dear, tell Jarith we are ready.**

}: He said: about time, :{ the green replied soon.

Standing on her toes, she gave him a little kiss before hurrying to get
herself and Ravyan up to Kjarliheth's back.
