Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 7, day 5 of Turn 5

Ri'len stumbled away from the group of men who still hovered around the young woman. She was another of his class, her green rising and Monilath had given chase. Ri'len hadn't wanted to, but the bronze had gone anyway. The flight hadn't been quite what he expected. Sure, he had been told in class, but experiencing it was something else. He'd had very little control...okay, maybe none at all...during the chase. And what if Monilath had caught? Ri'len knew he would be helpless to his dragon's whims if that had been the case. As it was, as he wobbled away, the entire group now dispersing, he still wasn't quite in his right mind. Weyr...he needed to get back to his weyr. He needed cold water dumped over his head. He needed...

"Hello," Bosa purred as stepped in front of the bronzerider. "I can help." She trailed a finger down his chest.

Ri'len managed to stop just before he bowled over the young woman. He stared at her and trembled at her touch. He was already on fire and it wasn't helping. He shook his head and tried to dart past her. He needed to get to the weyr..._now_.

"Where are you going? I'm right here. I can make you feel very, very good." She put her hands on his shoulders.

Ri'len groaned. His head spun, and the touch of a woman was not helping matters at all. He turned to brush her off, but the next thing he knew, his mouth was hard over hers, her body pressed against his own.

She made soft, pleased noises as her hands roamed and her lips explored. Bosa pulled back and took his hand tugging him toward the Weyr. They could go to her room, since the woman she shared the space with was on duty and wouldn't be back for several candlemarks.

"No..." Ri'len half heartedly protested. His body was on fire and even his dragon still lusted even though he had dropped out of the race. The bronze bugled his unsatiated desire.

"Yes. I know you want it. You need it." She stopped and used her free hand to trace the top of his trousers. In the back of her mind, she'd been trying to place his face, and now she recognized him from the last weyrling class. Maybe that's why he was so reluctant. "You want to feel me pressed against you. You want release." Bosa pulled him toward the Weyr again.

Yes, yes he did. He wanted it very badly. But he wanted it with Sorsha, not with...who was she? Ri'len stopped short and snatched his hand away. "No!" He shivered and stumbled back.

"It's all right. Come with me." He was shy or afraid, or both. This time she didn't take his hand, but held hers out. She knew she should have gotten here sooner. Now this one might get away from her and it looked like everyone else was taken.

"No." Ri'len shook his head. He managed to pull himself together a bit by drawing in several deep breaths. Finally he turned and fairly fled from the young woman so eager to take care of that desire. He didn't want to be with her, he wanted Sorsha. Shards, he had kissed her! How could he have done such a thing? He felt no love for that woman - he didn't even know who she was! Ri'len wasn't even sure if he'd be able to recognise her the next time he saw her, his head was in such a fog.

But what was he going to do? Guilt built with every running step he took toward their weyr. He was going to have to tell her. He couldn't keep something like that a secret - not from Sorsha. She wasn't going to like it, _he_ didn't like what had happened, but he had to be honest. He was almost afraid of what would happen...but he had to tell her - even if he didn't want to.

Bosa watched him go, her lips drawn down in a pout. How disappointing, and he'd been such a handsome one. She turned back to the scattered people that had moments before been a ring around the greenrider. Maybe she would get lucky and find another lonely watcher to spend time with.
