Location: Vintner Hall
Date: month 8, day 23 of Turn 3
Berjahir had sent a request for the new healer to come speak to him.
He wasn't the hallmaster but did like to be kept appraised on events in the hall and the arrival of a new healer would be quite a boon. He wanted to get an impression of the one that would be keeping an eye on the persons of the craft hall.
Berjahir stood up as he saw someone at the door to his office. "You must be Journeymen Talrian? Please, take a seat Journeymen, thanks for coming to speak with me."
Talrian smiled as he took a seat. "Of course. I'm hoping to get a chance to meet everyone eventually... it makes it easier to keep people healthy when I know them."
Berjahir's eyes bluged for a moment. "I hope you weren't expecting to perform a check up Talrian, I just wanted to speak." Although Berjahir knew he was in a quite good state of health, he wasn't sure how the healer would feel about his work ethic. Weaker people called it stressful, or even, unhealthy.
"No, no check up." Though it was interesting to note how defensive the man looked. Talrian made note of it before smiling. "What was on your mind, Master Berjahir?"
"I simply like to have a chats with any new personel." Not quite true, nothing was ever simple with Berjahir. On some level he was leveraging his new perogative. **I'm Master of Apprentices now, I have a right to speak to people.** he thought. "I am especially concerned with the welfare of our apprentices here Talrian. They can get into more... unique escapades then apprentices can at other halls."
Talrian nodded. "Perhaps you'd like for me to schedule a time for a regular meeting? I'll have reports for you on the apprentices, of course, but sometimes it's good to sit down and talk about concerns."
"Yes, that is the proper way to handle this, isn't it? Talrian?"
Berjahir stood, indicating _this_ meeting was done. "Please appraise me when is a convient time to speak, after you've setteled in more perhaps?"
"I'd be pleased to," Talrian replied, standing himself. "Hopefully we can work well together."
"I certainly hope so too, healer," he responded, as walked Talrian out of his office.
