Bathing Beauties

Writers: AL, Cali
Date Posted: 21st March 2009

Characters: F'gol, Meledei
Description: F'gol is still disturbed by bathing with girls - especially a certain gold weyrling.
Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 2, day 3 of Turn 5

"I probably smell like a porcine." Meledei stated, wrinkling her nose and stretching as she and the other weyrlings made their way to the bathing rooms. It would be so nice to get a hot bath. She hadn't had a chance to take one before bedtime the night before and she was really looking forward to it.

F'gol looked away as she started to disrobe. She might smell like one, but she certainly didn't _look_ like one, and even though he'd gotten better over the last month of controlling his reactions to her and some of the other girls naked in the bathing room, it didn't mean that he still wasn't affected by the sight of her nude form. He shucked his clothes off as fast as he could and grabbed a towel, dropping it to the side of the pool and sliding in. The warm water felt nice on his sore muscles, and he wondered if he'd ever _not_ feel sore and tired again. He also wondered if Meledei would join him. She often times went to soak with Sorsha, his most often rival for Meledei's attention (not that he really minded, she was a nice sort who always made him feel welcome), but he didn't see her in the room yet.

Meledei didn't bother to hide a smile at F'gol's reaction. She took the time to carefully fold her towel and set it down where it wouldn't get wet, then take a cloth. She glanced around, but saw only a few of the other weyrlings. The gold weyrling slipped into the water and stretched again, then reached past F'gol to take up some sweetsand. "So do you think you're finally all caught up? You've hardly needed my help with anything over the last sevenday."

"I think I must be nearing the point where it's new for everyone." F'gol said before he dunked himself under the water to get his hair wet. "My one on one instructors have disappeared the last few evenings. And it's about time too, I need the breaks."

"And I'll be getting some of those later on." Meledei began to scrub herself, wincing at the grime that was coming off with the motions. "Actually, I believe we'll be all be getting some specialised instruction." Though Meledei's _would_ be one on one as she was the only goldrider.

F'gol nodded, Meledei's posted schedule said as much. "But at least my restdays will be my own again." He might even get a chance to practice his gitar a bit.

"You don't plan on sharing them at all?" Meledei fairly pouted, though it wasn't a very convincing one. She lightly slapped the wet cloth at F'gol. "I was hoping to make you my personal servant."

"Hey!" The bluerider looked up to fend of the attack and couldn't help but catch a glimpse of Meledei's round breasts peeking up from the water's cover. He looked back down, sure the heat of his cheeks gave away his embarrassment, and immensely glad that the pool hid his more obvious excitement. He focused quickly on what she had said and thanked Faranth that Tealth was sleeping off his breakfast. "And here I thought you weren't going to be one of those egotistical goldriders? Personal servant indeed!"

Meledei giggled. "Only with you. I mean, you know, everyone else can just do what they normally do." The girl lightly punched him in the arm, then dunked herself, partially to rinse off, partially to get her hair wet. "So no personal servant?"

"I wouldn't make a good personal servant." F'gol replied as he grabbed more sweetsand and worked on getting the grime out from under his fingernails. "I'd be the kind that spit in your food."

"You wouldn't do that!" Meledei moved to the other side of F'gol to get better access to the sweetsand. While doing so, she lightly kicked at his leg underneath the water, though it was obvious she wasn't trying very hard. "You adore me too much for that!"

"You wish." he muttered, kicking back and doing his best not to look at her as she half rose out of the water as she moved. He dunked himself again, wishing he could just sit in the warm soothing water all day, then came up for the inevitable air.

"You were under for some time." Meledei commented, gently nudging F'gol's leg with her toe. "I was beginning to think you were trying to turn into a dolphin."

F'gol splashed her lightly, dismissing her comment. "We didn't have big bathing pools like this growing up. It's a nice treat to be surrounded by all this warm water."

"I guess I'm just used to them." Meledei finished rubbing her body with sweetsand, then dunked under herself so she could work on her hair. She bounced up and then pushed back the wet strands from her eyes, grabbed more sweetsand and began to scrub vigourously. "Of course, you could always go dunk yourself in the sea."

Shards! Could the woman not splash around so much? He'd caught another glimpse of her as she came up and he became excited all over again. He really needed to think about a score or something when he came to the bathing pool! He wanted to get up and leave, but he didn't want to expose himself just yet. He looked around furtively and finally focused in on someone. "Hey, I've got to go ask E'ron a question real quick, I'll see you later." And scooted away from the girl before she could try and stop him.

"Oh...okay." Something in the tone of his voice made Meledei that was his true intention, but she wasn't going to argue. The girl shrugged and pulled herself out of the water, sitting upon the edge as she rung out her hair.
