Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 12, day 22 of Turn 3

Suddenly there was a great commotion at the entrance to the infirmary. A greenrider was angrily yelling at a candidate in front of him. She seemed to cringe from him in real fear. Her young face was contorted in misery.

Finally it seemed as if the greenrider had had enough and he left. The poor candidate knelt and started picking up what she had dropped. Her long brown mass of curls covered her face from view, but if one looked they could see her shoulders quiver with suppressed tears.

Jozia witnessed the entire exchange from beginning to end. He walked over to the candidate and started helping her clean up. "I must say, that was a bit harsh of him."

"It's alright, I should have been more careful." She said in a small voice.

"That doesn't give him the right to be rude. He may be a dragonrider, but even dragonriders need manners. Are you alright, though? You look a little shaken up."

"I'm alright." She said in that same small voice. She kept her head down to hide her face from him.

"You don't sound alright." He said as he put a comforting hand on her shoulder. "It's okay to be not alright.
Look, if you want to sit down and just cry for a while, I know the guys that I share an office with are doing rounds, so its going to be empty. I'll guard it for you so you won't be disturbed."

"It's alright I will be okay." She finally stood and let the hair fall back from her face. Her eyes only slightly shimmered with tears. "I really shouldn't let it all bother me. He probably has a green ready to rise or something. It really is alright. Thank you." She tried to turn to leave and sighed as something slide of the tray she had been carrying. Her movement must have done it. She cursed under her breath.

With the quick reflexes of an experienced healer, Jozia caught the unbroken jar as it slid off the tray. Seeing the relief in her eyes, he took the tray from her so nothing else would get broken. "I believe you have a case of frayed nerves, and while there are several remedies for it, I think in your case only the most powerful remedy will work. Are you interested?"

Aidiata gave him a look of surprise. She was also wary. "What do you mean?"

"Don't worry," he chuckled, "it's nothing painful. I've administered this cure a few times already and I haven't gotten a single complaint. Simply put, you have to have dinner with me. It's the best cure I've ever seen for frayed nerves. I'll meet you in the dining cavern in, oh, four candlemarks?" Without waiting for a response, he took the tray over to where it needed to be and then continued about his rounds.
