"Writing a letter."
Faelath huffed and wandered over to stand by the desk her rider was sitting that. }: I can see _that_. But what sort of letter has you so wound up? :{
L'saz frowned heavily at the parchment laid out before him, at the letters being painstakingly scrawled out. "I'm just writing to my parents."
}: Oooh. Are you telling them about me? :{
A moment of silence. The pang of guilt in L'saz's chest said more than words could ever hope to.
}: You _aren't_. :{
L'saz sighed and glanced down at the green. "Faelath, it's not-"
}: Not personal. You just don't want your family to know about my existence. :{
"Right. I mean, no. I mean-"
Faelath huffed and turned to stalk back to her couch. }: Save it. Go on ahead and dig yourself a hole of lies if you want. I won't stop you. :{
"It's just better if they think I'm still a candidate for a while," L'saz murmured.
Faelath said nothing, and after a moment of uncomfortable silence, L'saz went back to his letter.
