Description: Shadux updates the Lord Holder's oldest son on the state of things in the Hold after the quake
Location: Amber Hills Hold
Date: month 11, day 2 of Turn 3

"Please everyone, there is no need to panic!" Shadux yelled over the
throng of people. "The quake is over and the building has been sounded!
You are not in any danger! Please _walk_! Do not run! Everyone, wait
your turn! Serhox Wing residents, use the eastern staircase and proceed
to the Multi-purpose room! Sanshira Wing use the western stairs and go
to the Dining Hall! You can meet your families there. Serhox to the
Multi-purpose room, Sanshira to the Dining Hall! You will receive
further instructions when you get there!"

The assistant steward could already feel his voice would not last.
"Benil, can you take over for me?" he asked the Lord Holder's second
youngest son who stood at his side. Shadux had caught a glimpse of
Benaroy's oldest making his way through the crushing crowd towards them.

"Lord Royan!" he called, beckoning the man over.

"Shadux. Where's father?" he asked reaching the man. Amarid was slinging
to his sholder, upset at the noise and wild emotions. "Is anyone hurt?"

"Lord Benaroy cut his hand on some broken glass, but the healer assures
us it's very minor," Shadux said as he pulled the Lord Holder's son down
another, much quieter corridor. "There are a few injuries, but so far
nothing has been reported to be alarmed about. We will know more once
we have done a head-count. Your brothers have been organizing everyone
upstairs. The Family Wing residents are in the large reception room.
You can find your family there. They're fine." The younger man took a
deep breath. That was a lung-full of information!

"Thank the egg for that." he dusted off his clothing for a moment. "We
lost two foals, spooked and broke legs. The rest of the heards seems to
be all right." he explained.

"Good to know," Shadux nodded. "I will pass that along to Lord Benaroy.
How about the buildings and the fences? Are they intact?"

"Bulidings aren't showing any damage as of yet, it might be to soon to
tell."

"We'll get someone to sound them," the assistant steward assured him.
"But all the power is out in the buildings. That means no heat. We're
trying to get everyone together in the dinning hall and multi-purpose
rooms. At least there are the fireplaces in there."

Royan nodded, steping back into the main hall observing those those left
in the room. The ones who'd arrived too late to hear his younger
brothers annoucment. He climbed onto one of the table and piched his
voice. "Holders! We need to get everyone into the dinning hall. Try to
stay with your familes. Please anyone with a firelizard join Shadux and
I. I'd like to see if we can get our friends to help us find anyone not
here."

"No, wait! Lord Royan!" Shadux pulled at his pantleg to get his
attention. "That will mess up our count! We need _everyone_ from
Sanshira wing in the Dining Hall and _everyone_ from Serhox Hall in the
_Multi-purpose_ room. We can sort out where the missing are later, once
we can count and know for _sure_ who is missing."

Royan nodded rubbing his face for a moment to gather his thoughts,
"Sanshria wing to the Dinning Hall." He called, louder this time.
"Serhox wing to the multi purpose." He smiled at the assitant steward,
"Thank you Shadux. I think I'd better see to my family, you and Benil
seem to have things here."

"Of course, sir." Shadux stepped out of the way to give Royan room to
get down. "I will be reporting to Lord Benaroy soon after the
technicians know what is going on. I'm sure there will be more for all
of us to do soon. I will find you in the large reception room then?"

Jumping down Royan nodded. "Yes, if you need me I'll be there." he
smiled at hte younger man. "Thank you."
