Aishara

Aishara

Aishara had picked up a spot on the beach away from all the others. She sat on a rock, wrapped her arms around her knees, resting her chin against knees. Staring at the sea, she let the tears come out.

She had lost him, lost him to another woman from another Weyr. But how could she compete with a _goldrider?_ She loved R'enh but he apparently didn't love her back. At least not enough. Not enough to share his life with her. Was this the reward from being kind, unselfish and undemanding? Would she had been able to keep him if she had been more demanding? Demanded him to pay attention to her. Instead just waiting him to notice her.
Thoughts filled her mind, swirling there like a swarm of vtols. Regrets and what-ifs.
Could she change who she was, should she?

}: I don't want you to change. I love you they way you are, that made me choose you,:{ Ayumith tried to comfort her rider but she was not really listening her. She was angry at Mnoranth's for hurting her rider like this. Let's just see if she let that bronze win her Flights ever again!

Sobs made Aishara's trimmed body shake. Her heart was in shatters. He had broken her heart to pieces and then stepped on the shards. How could she ever again smile or laugh? How could she ever see him again without breaking apart? A baby, the two of them wanted a baby. It was like getting stabbed by a dull knife, over and over again. And forget being just friends with him afterwards. She loved him too much. How could she stay in same Weyr with him? But where would she go? This was her home. Dragonsfall? That's where _she_ lived. For a briefest moments, she hated _her_ from the bottom of her heart. But she wasn't a person to hang on to a hate. So she just cried and grieved.

Ayumith whimpered quietly. It was like someone had extinguished the warm, bright light that was her rider. The green wanted to kill something. Since Mnoranth wasn't there, she went to feeding pens.
