Does anybody else go here:

http://www.triadweyrs.org/newsletter.php

all the time to see who has joined this month?  I check it out every day on my little trek around the Triad website.  I click on all the new members' names and check out their other clubs, and if they're joining as members check out the character they have up for approval.

Of course, I can't actually *see* the character sheet, but the general info is insteresting enough.  Among the April new members we have a DCW Candidate (Ylisahn will be pleased), and a new character for the Dolphin Hall (I can see us all lining up already to ask for coposts).

And then I check the membership list on the forums here, to see which of the new members has registered, and then I hop around waiting excitedly for introductions in the Introductions forum.

Sometimes no introduction appears.  :crybaby:

Perhaps people like to wait until their character is approved?  Not that I think there's any need for that.  (After all, the Queen of the Lurkers introduced herself before she had a character.)  Do you think it would be spam if I just used the new members' email (or contact button) on their profile to say hello?

Or am I just having a Tigger moment?  Pounce first, ask questions later!

I already contacted one about a week ago and suggested an intro on the forums -- so far nothing on that front, but I've been promised a copost eventually!

I usually do this, although I find I'm falling behind on pouncing. :( Too much schoolwork!
