QuoteAnd Mikel, don't get me started on your coffee.... *chuckles* and scampers off to bed.....

Hopefully you're not talking about Starbucks, cause I heard the Starbucks down in Australia seriously sucks, and its not the coffee, its the people who don't really know how to make it!  I've had a few Aussie friends who hated Starbucks back in Oz but fell in love with it after they came to Japan ;)

That reminds me -- while searching for jobs, I came across one that listed benefits as "health, dental, & vision insurance; paid holidays; free Starbucks coffee."

Nah, nothing to do with Starbucks. tho' their coffee's are extremely strong!

Mikel and Vix (I think), and I; have an agreement to disagree on taste in coffee's.... I prefer Nescafe (instant) coz I can never get a percolated coffee hot enough.  And I've now found a YUMMY instant Cappucino!

I definitely have to agree with you there!  I tend to stick to the frappacinos, mochas and lattes personally ;)

Though I like my coffee strong, I don't really care for Starbucks. In fact, at any coffeeshop, I tend to order spiced chai -- hot or iced, depending on the weather. We have a drive-through coffee bar here and I tend to keep funds on a pre-pay card, both for convenience and to keep track of my fee drinks.

As to instant -- it may say "coffee" but it's not!

I'm such a great coffee fiend that I drink my instant coffee with miles of sugar and less than half a teaspoon of coffee.  Then I add cold water to cool it down.

It's sweet, coffee-coloured, lukewarm water, really.

My sister, Andrea, will pour 2/3 of a cup of coffee and then fill the cup the rest of the way to the brim by pouring sugar and creamer into it.

I worked in the Starbucks Cafe part of B&N for long enough to know all the drinks I like. :D None of them were their regular coffee, though!

My absolute favorite was the spiced caramel apple cider. Looooove it. Though I used to drink the tazoberry drinks and I used to have white chocolate mocha fraps sometimes.

Now, though, I am trying to avoid sugar, so I make my own sugar free fraps at home by freezing my coffee in ice cube trays and mixing it up in the blender in the mornings. :D

I can't have Frappuchinos anymore because I'm lactose intolerant :( With Starbucks you can swap soymilk in the hot drinks, but apprently the Frapps are premade mixes added to ice and those mixes are what has real milk in them so they're permanently offlimits. :( I miss them so badly, though, and wish I could do homemade equivalents.

I am unfond of ice'd coffee drinks. Coffee, to me, is meant to be a hot beverage. In fact, I can't even stand it when my cup of coffee cools to room temperature.

Starbucks is gross!!! Give me Dunkin' Donuts any day...

Tell me when you have a freezer and a blender (or a plastic bag and a hammer! *g*) and I'll teach you how!

OMG that brings back memories of the East Coast :D  I remember I was really shocked when I first saw people walking around with Dunkin' Donuts cups all the time and I thought "Wow, these people really love their donuts!"

In Washington we have Dunkin Donuts in some places but we honestly only go there for the DONUTS *gasp!*
