}: Miss Eillispeth, do you have a moment? :{ Lissath voice sounded
unusually modest as she reached out for the Senior Green. }: I have a
matter I would like to hear your opinion on. :{
}: Of course I have. How can I help you, Lissath?" Eillispeth replied,
looking the gold hatchling. She didn't really remember training Onnyth, but
she did _knew_ she had done it. Now she was guiding her second gold
weyrling towards maturity. It made her feel proud.
}: I was hoping you could tell me what you think of our new Queen :{
Lissath asked curiously.
If dragons could shrug, Eillispeth would have shrugged indifferently. }:
She is a Queen. I haven't talked with her personally yet, :{ she replied.
}: But why? She's your Queen. Surely you would want to know if she's a good
leader? :{ Lissath pushed.
}: I haven't had any reason to talk with her yet. She's Gold, she was born
to lead. How could she not be a good leader, :{ Eillispeth replied. She
didn't bother herself with thoughts if someone was good or bad leader. She
just accepted them as they were. She was green after all.
}: Hmm, that is true, I guess, :{ Lissath admitted slowly. }: Do you think
I will make a good leader? :{ Oh yes, she certainly intended on being
Senior Gold one day.
}: Why wouldn't you? :{ Eillispeth answered with counter question.
Lissath needed a few seconds to process. Then she sat up a little
straighter. }: Yes, of course, why wouldn't I. I'm born for it. :{ She sat
thinking for a moment before she asked }: What were you born for? :{
}: I was born to fly fast and fight Thread. And if I can't do that, then to
teach the young ones, :{ the older green replied. She couldn't really
remember why she and E'naer didn't fight Thread any longer.
}: That is a good reason to be. :{ Lissath decided. }: I think my Genna is
ready to feed me now. Thank you for the talk. :{ the gold replied politely,
now that Genna had tuned back in.
}: Anytime, little one. That's why I am here,:{ Eillispeth replied. She
always felt maternal towards the dragonets.
