Lissath looked sideways at her lifemate. Genna was hunched over a hide,
reading it with undivided attention. All this studying was positively
boring, she had no clue why Genna even bothered with it. It wasn't as if
anything from a book would help her lead the Weyr.

**Come, lets go talk to people** she urged her lifemate. Genna, however,
just shook her head and continued reading.

Lissath heaved another deep sigh and when that didn't help, she waddled
off, offended.

**I'll go have fun on my own then.** she muttered angrily, even though she
stayed right in sight of Genna, knowing she'd get a scolding otherwise.

What to do for a little entertainment? Well, she'd call on her clutchmates,
obviously. They would entertain her.

**Who wants to play a game with me?** she called out to her brothers and
sisters.

Brown Mordoth scrambled up to his feet, where he had curled up to rest. }:
Oooh, me! :{ he said eagerly and glanced his rider, who had actually fallen
asleep.

Sondrath was oh so eager to join in. }:Me too,:{ he begged. }:My L'ger has
those hide things out.:{

Luneth stuck by Ninaine, her side pressed firmly against Ninaine's
leg. The hide reading was boring, but the little hatchling rarely left
Ninaine's side for anything. She didn't answer Lissath, instead
wrinkling her nose up and pressing even more firmly against her
lifemate.

Another tiny green was pressed close by her lifemate as he poured over
their assignment. But he looked up at the dragons and chuckled. **go
play if you want.** he added looking down at where Faucheth was curled
around his leg. Eyes whirled in happiness and soon she was off to
join the fun. }:I'm coming too:{

}:What are we playing? :{ Mordoth asked.

}: Uhm... :{ Lissath though for a moment as the other weyrlings gathered
around her. Suddenly, she tapped Mordoth with her tail and dashed off. }:
Tag! You're it! :{

}: What's tag? :{ Mordoth was left sitting there, not sure what he was
supposed to do.

}: I tagged you, now you must tag someone else. Try to catch them and tap
them with your tail! :{ Lissath had drawn the idea from the depths of
Genna's brain and had adapted it to something dragons could play quite
easily. }: Run everyone, Mordoth's it! :{

Sondrath scooted away from Mordoth with the still ungainly gait of a young
weyrling dragon. }:Either you're supposed to follow Lissath, or find
someone else to tag,:{ he reasoned.

Faucheth turned to run but the little green ran smack into a wall and
staggered sideways keening her pain. "What happened?" T'lat bolted out
of his chair and ran to the little green.

Ninaine lifted her head at the wail. **Luneth, what is going on?**

Luneth kept herself pressed against Ninaine's leg. }: They are playing
a game chasing each other. Faucheth ran into a wall trying to get
away because Lissath smacked Mordoth. :{

**Well, that's just silly.** Ninaine went back to her hides, but
reached down to lightly scratch around Luneth's brow ridges.

}: You have to be careful, Faucheth, :{ Lissath instructed with as
much authority as she could muster with her age. She didn't want the
little green to ruin her game by hurting herself and drawing the
attention of the Weyrlingmaster. }: You're faster than most of us
anyway, so you can think a bit more about where to go. :{

While Lissath's attention was on Faucheth, Mordoth crept close and
poked her side. }: You're it! :{ he cried gleefully and darted away.
His wing brushed against table loaded with dishes and sent them all
flying around. His rider woke up with a jolt. "Wut?"

}: Nooo! :{ Lissath cried out in frustration, before turning back to
the little green and tapping her lightly on the tail. }: Now you're
it. :{ and she waddled away, crushing the dishes as she rushed right
over them.

But Faucheth had learned and she was fast. T'lat landed with an "ooof"
on the floor when she pulled out of his grasp and dashed past the gold
like a little bolt of green lightning, tapping her with her own tail.

}:No, You're it:{ she chortled and dashed out of reach and around a
corner behind several others of the weyrlings. This time she was very
careful to watch where she was going and not where she'd been. }:This
is fun mine,:{ she called to her lifemate.

}: You all look silly and you're breaking things. :{ Luneth interjected.

}:I didn't break things,:{ Faucheth bounced. }:I'm fast, I bet you're
fast too.:{

This wasn't as fun as she had thought it would be, Lissath concluded to
herself. She should think of a game that didn't involve speed next time.
Turning around, she made way straight for Sondrath.

}: Enough! Stop it! :{ Eillispeth roared. }: You're creating a mess and
disturbing others. If you want a play a game that involves running around,
do it outside. There's less obstacles to run into,:{ she continued with more
advisory tone.

At the older green's command, Mordoth stopped so fast he left skidd marks
to the floor.

Having spotted Lissath heading for him, Sondrath was trying to get behind
Mordoth, thinking that if he couldn't be seen, then nobody could tag him.
Which meant that he trod on someone's tail. }:Sorry, did I hurt you?:{

}: What? Come on, Ellispeth, we're just having some fun! :{ Lissath
hated being told off, even if she could sense Ellispeth was probably
in the right. They were creating quite a bit of mess. }: Get of his
tail Sondrath, you might squeeze it off! :{ she shot back at the
brown, wanting to sound responsible.

There was a pointed huff from Luneth's spot. The little green hunkered
down and watched, her tail thumping rhythmically against the floor. }:
No, Faucheth, you didn't break things. They did. You were fast enough
not to. :{

}: I told you to stop it. Now, obey! :{ Ellispeth sounded angry.

Mordoth crept back to his rider, crooning apologies.

Faucheth squeaked and ran back to T'lat burying her head in his chest.
}:Sorry,:{ she cried as she trembled in his arms.

}: Okay, okay, sorry, :{ Lissath let out a sigh of exasperation as she
waddled back to her Lifemate's side.

Genna, meanwhile, was blushing heavily as she only just realised how much
of a mess her dragon had been making. "Sweet Faranth, no one hurt
themselves, did they?"

"I think they are all okay," said L'ger as he began to check Sondrath over.

Ninaine looked up and gave a light huff before bending back to her
work. At least Luneth could be counted on to behave.
