Sitting there on the blanket with the old Weyrleader, she found herself lying on her side with a hand propping her up. Rhosyn had a sun hat on to block the rays. Someone said something about people needing some sun so she had finally relented and found herself out in the light. "U'das, tell me about Tsaera." He knew her best she reasoned.

"Oh, Faranth," U'das groaned, "Don't you have an easier subject on your mind?" He could see why she asked it.

"No, not really. I need to know what I'm getting myself into." Of course Rhosyn would get the answer-one way or another. She was hoping, though, that he would just offer up the information. Her eyes watched him as she reached for the water.

"That's almost impossible to answer. Tsaera is Tsaera," he shrugged a bit. "Not always easiest person to get along although she and I always got along just fine. We didn't always agree, but didn't let that keep us working together. Besides, K'sedel would know her better than I do."

"Yeah but I can't talk to K'sedel like this..." She looked up into the sky and considered everything. "You know me. You know her. What do you think? Is it going to be okay?"

"Whatever she does, she'll be thinking of the Weyr's well being first. She won't undermine your authority or position, if you're worried about that. It would only hurt the Weyr. She loves River Bluff and she is smart."

Quietly, she finished off the water and laid on her back. Considering everything, Rhosyn listened to him. "Why do you say she's not easy to get along with then? Lenala almost seems terrified of her."

"Lenala is easily terrified," U'das muttered quietly. "I bet you two, you and Tsaera, will be head butting each other," he grinned. "You're too much alike, you both are strong willed and determined. Tsaera doesn't have your impulsiveness though. She is more calculative and focused. She never does anything without thinking it through first."

"Well that might be a good thing." Yes it could be an advantage. "I just hope Lenala can lead her when I need her to. If not, the Wing will be confused and then everything will be just wonderful. We'll see, though. Hopefully it will all go fine and then I can have this baby and be back to my old self again." Rhosyn was very ready to let Briata do some of the mothering so she could sleep.

"Lenala still has some growing up to do. If only she could get over the notion she should look pretty and act stupid," U'das remarked.

"She's made great strides. I admit-I trust her a lot more than I used to. So I think that with time and a little more pushing, she can be what I need her to be. After all, she didn't Impress gold for nothing." That Rhosyn was convinced of.

"Tsaera thought so too. But whatever good she gained with Lenala, Zharesti ruined by dismissing her altogether," U'das replied with a nod.

"I never got to meet her, but all I hear about her is bad. Then again, all I hear about me elsewhere is bad so maybe she wasn't all that horrible." Snorting, Rhosyn admitted the truth. Of course most of the bad things about her had nothing to do with her management style.

"You're probably right. Honestly, she wasn't here long enough for any one of us to really learn to _know_ her," U'das admitted with a shrug.

"Well when she comes, if there's anything you see that I could do better or something, feel free to come visit and talk to me about it. You'll be my personal retired advisor." She said that as if it was a lofty title. The truth was, though, she trusted U'das. She couldn't say why, but she did.

"Happy to," U'das answered with a grin.

"How's everything with you then?" Taking a drink of some water, Rhosyn tried to keep track of the time in the sun. She didn't want to overheat.

"Doing okay," U'das replied with a shrug. The worst was past and he had adjusted to his new situation. "I take one day at the time."

"That's good. I guess if you can handle not being able to see I can handle having a baby coming out of me." She said it with nonchalance, but underneath it was her fear.

"It will go just fine," U'das said with reassuring tone.
