Daihmin paused on the threshold of the door. It had been a long shift,
and the sudden bustle before him made him feel suddenly a little dull.
All the same, he shook his shoulders out and straightened up.
"Zelenka. Sorry to disturb you. Could I beg a moment of your time."
His smile was bright- never hurt to charm
"Ah, Daihmin, of course you can," Zelanka replied with a smile. The
hold's guards had a special place in her heart, perhaps because her
son was one of them. Or just because she felt they did an important
job.
His grin widened cheekily.
"I've not come to steal you away somewhere secret, alas... But a word
about one of your little workers, a mini miss by the name of Halah.
Sneaking around out of doors the other night- but don't we all at some
point when we are young and think we are smart? However..."
The smile faded a bit, but he looked far from angry. He genuinely
didn't want to stir trouble for the sill thing.... but his next words
held truth.
"I don't know if it was simply the late of the night, but her tounge
was a little less then...sensible. I'd hate to hear she got herself in
some trouble with someone who matters a little more then a dull old
guard with it."
"Oh, dear, I shall have a talk with her. I just hope she was not
visiting a boyfriend," Zelanka said with a worried tone.
Daihmin was quick to reassure.
"No, no. Night time raiding of the kitchen was all. No boyfriends. All
the same... I don't think such backchat is going to serve her very
well. She may need a reminder or two from someone more sensible."
"Yes, I agree. One should always show respect. Being polite doesn't
really cost you much and makes people like you more," Zelanka replied
and smiled so her dimples showed. She had a smile of a young girl,
despite being a grandmother.
Her twinkling smile earned her another in return from the flirtatious
soul.
"Oh, I definatly agree."
"Smart of you," Zelanka replied and laughed.
