"Master Miranek, so nice that you were able to come," Corowal greeted when
the healer came to his office.

"It's my pleasure," replied the Healer with a bow to the Lord of Emerald
Hills.

"Take a seat, please," Corowal gestured the chair. "I believe you're
received a message from Lord Zathris?" He had too, a one where the Amber
Hill's Lord asked to borrow Miranek for few months. He wanted a master
midwife to his wife's birth and Miranek was the best.

"I did," Miranek took the offered seat.

"So, what do you think about it? I understand Lady Benani is expecting
twins," Corowal asked.

"A twin pregnancy is never easy."

"Yes, and it's her first one," Corowal replied rubbing his temple. Faranth
knew what would had happened if Ofelia had ever gotten twins!

As a healer, his first duty was to a person in need of his skills, and Lady
Benani was clearly in need of careful monitoring, Amber Hills wouild want to
see a successful birth of what would hopefully be a healthy male heir to
ensure the succession there. "I'd not want to make a permanent move,"
Miranek said. "My family and I are well settled here."

"You want go there to handle Lady Benani's delivery?" Corowal wanted to be
clear about it.

"It's my duty as a healer to help those who need it," Miranek explained.

"How about the infirmary here? Will it function with you away?" Corowal
asked. Miranek wasn't the hold's only healer, but he was the highest ranking
one. He was the one in charge.

"Unless there are complications I won't be needed there for long, and for
her checks before the birth, I'm sure that Lord Zathris can organise
transport."

Corowal nodded. "Fine then, as long as my holder's needs are met, I'm
satisfied," he said. "I'll reply to Zathris that you will be coming," he
continued.

"I'd appreciate that milord."

"Good. Now, I'm sure you want to go to see your family and to pack up. I'll
send the word when the transportation arrives," Corowal said.

"Sir," the Healer nodded as he got to his feet.

"Have a nice trip, master Miranek," Corowal replied to nod.
