Description: Sofeya finds a hapless Holder to seduce
Location: Amber Hills Hold
Date: month 2, day 9 of Turn 6
Sofeya stretched, sending her arms as far as they would reach and then
let them drop. She was bored. Her evening had gone by quickly, thank
Faranth, her duties finished and she could finally relax, but she
wasn't sure what to do. She didn't want to just go back to her
quarters. There was no fun in that. So, she began to wander the
halls, setting at a languid pace. Well, she was hungry, might as well
get something to eat and while there she could enjoy the harpers who
played at the evening meal. It was _something_. Better than nothing.
The woman changed her direction and found her way to the dining hall.
She slipped through and glanced about. Faces swam before her and she
sighed. She didn't really care for anyone there. She had very few
friends and those who became friends didn't remain so for long. That
was all right, she didn't need anyone. And in general, people stunk.
Still, a pleasant face could make a meal a little better. A moment
later she found one, an empty spot next to him. She sauntered over
and motioned. "Is this seat taken?"
"No, no go right ahead, miss." The man moved slightly to his left to
give her more room, and turned back to his meal.
Sofeya sat down and looked down at her plate. The usual fare. The
food was usually pretty good. She gave the man a sidelong glance then
slowly began to eat. One bite, two. Finally, she turned and held her
hand out to him, a smile curling up the corners of her full lips. "I'm
Sofeya."
"Begging your pardon, ma'am," the man mumbled and took her hand.
"Where are my manners? I'm Toray, nice to meet you." And such a nice
looking hand too, to go along with that lovely face and slender body.
The ma blinked and turned away when he realised he was staring.
Sofeya noticed and it only made those lips curl up further. "A
pleasure to meet you Toray." His knots were away from her so instead
of trying to lean over and look, she asked, "And may I ask what you
do?"
"Just a simple farmer, I am, ma'am," the man stuttered.
"A simple farmer?" Sofeya leaned back as if she wanted to get a
better look at him. "There is nothing simple about farmercrafters.
Without you we wouldn't have a goodly portion of the fine fare in
which we partake today!" Her hand gestured to the various items on
the table, the fruits, the fingerroots and tubers and vegetables that
coloured the plates.
The man blushed and fumbled around with his fork and plate, not being
the type that was used to compliments. "And you, ma'am? What do you
do?"
"Me? Not much. My life is quite boring and my job isn't nearly as
interesting as yours, or as difficult." Sofeya let her fork slide
through her lips, her eyes never moving away from the man. "I do hope
people give you the appreciation you deserve."
"Well...I...well..." The man turned as red as the beets he had been
planting today.
Sofeya's smile slinked over her mouth, but then it faded and she
leaned forward, affording the man a better look at how far her tunic's
went and how much skin she truly showed. "Come now, you don't mean to
tell me that no one appreciates what you do?"
"What I do...?" Shards, why couldn't his mind work properly? All he
could do was stare quite openly at her breasts. Whilst he didn't have
much imagination, he_did_know what he would like to do with those.
"It's a real shame." Sofeya straightened, just a little, though there
was still a nice view. She stabbed at her food with her fork. "Well
I for one appreciate it." She smiled, her eyelashes flickering for a
moment. "So, tell me, what else do you do besides provide for the
hold?"
"I...I...nothing much, ma'am." With difficulty he looked up at her
face and away from her body.
"Come now, there's no need to be so modest." Sofeya purred as she
continued to eat in between conversation. "What sort of things do you
like? Hm?"
"The runners...I like betting on the runners..."
"Really? I've never thought about that." Sofeya admitted as she
pushed her plate away. "Have you had any luck with that?"
He shrugged his shoulders. "A bit..me wife doesn't like it though."
"Why not? You can make good marks that way if you're smart." Sofeya
shook her head. "Besides, they're your marks. _You_ were the one who
worked hard to earn them! You should be able to say what you do with
them!"
"Yeah...true.." Whilst he normally loved his plump little wife, he did
feel a flash of anger that she just didn't let him have some fun
whenever he wanted it. But then again, the man wasn't thinking
straight at this moment.
"After all, who is the one who works so hard to earn those marks?" It
was the same thing Sofeya had just said, just slightly different, but
she was trying to rub the point in. She leaned over to draw closer to
the man, one hand gently lain upon his arm. "You deserve to have some
fun every once in a while."
He nodded. She was right, he_did_deserve a bit of fun whenever he
could. Looking more determined, he looked back at her.
"I seem to have finished my food." Sofeya smiled sweetly. "Would you
be willing to escort me to my quarters? I don't...really like walking
through the halls alone."
If the poor man had been thinking, he would have known she'd be okay.
but as it was, he stood and thought he was doing the gentlemanly thing
by helping her get safely to her quarters.
Sofeya slipped her arm through his and motioned toward the doors. She
allowed him to lead her outside and into the halls. Her words were
soft, sensual as she told him how to get to her quarters and she tried
to keep the pace lazy. She tightened her hold on him, drawing closer,
her body brushing against hers. When they arrived at her quarters,
she paused and started to enter. But then she stopped, her hold still
not quite fully loosened. "Would you care to come in for a quick
drink before you go?"
The man was too bemused not to say no. And the way her body had been
up against his...well, all he could think of at this moment was one
thing.
And it wasn't drinking.
Sofeya smiled and drew him into her parlor. The night was turning out
to be better than she thought it would be.
